Need Help Converting Cheat Engine Cheats to Pnach

Hello! New to the forums here. Looking for some help. I've been playing Final Fantasy XII and have had no problems getting cheats to work. Well I found a couple specific cheats that I want to use specifically a cheat where Espers will always use their ultimate attack. I tried to convert the codes to RAW and add them into the Pnach with no success. After digging around I found a cheat engine table with these cheats on it, and they work perfectly. I want to transfer these cheats to a pnach so that they are always enabled (I don't feel like having to open CE each and everytime). For example one of the cheats in cheat engine is Address: 2054D13C Value : 00B76002. Is it possible to take these and convert them so that they would work in the Pnach file? I have searched everywhere with no luck finding any answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys i have a problem with Shadow of the Colossus: it runs not smooth ( its painful to play like this) and i dont understand because my pc specs are:

CPU: I7 6700K  4ghz
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080
RAM: 16 GB
O.S.: Windows 10


[i]PCSX2 version: 1.5.0 ( I know its a beta)[/i]

I tried to configure but I think I'm doing something wrong. So i reset the configuration and ask your help.
What settings do you recommend for my pc? It's so weird. Glare

GS plugin fails to open with Nvidia

Hi! I have a notebook with both a Intel HD Graphics 520 and a Nvidia GeForce 930M. I use bumblebee to run applications with the nvidia gpu. When I run PCSX2 normally, with the Intel graphics, the game runs normally, but when I use the Nvidia card, PCSX2 gives me the following message:

"GS plugin failed to open. Your computer may have insufficient resources, or incompatible hardware/drivers."

And in the console:

"GS plugin failed to open!(thread:MTGS)(thread:EE Core)"


I'm using the latest nvidia driver with GSdx plugin. Running other applications with Nvidia works alright, only PCSX2 gives me a problem.

Can someone help?

PSX disc error

I keep reading that PCSX2 supposedly has PSX disc compatibility, however, my disc image gives me the error "PSX game discs are not supported by PCSX2" and that I need to download another emulator. Does my image need to be an ISO? It's currently a .bin.

Edit: I guess I should add that I'm currently using v1.4.0

Has the development team ever considered porting PCSX2 to the Vita? The Vita is more than capable for PS2 Emulation.I was conisdering on doing this myself, so what are your guys' thoughts?

Edit: I found the solution. lib32-primus was not installed. It's required if you use bumblebee

9800GT 1GB, FX 6100 3.3Ghz. Still slow.

Just popped in a 6 core 3.3 Ghz AMD FX 6100 CPU to go with my 9800GT with 1 gig, 8 gig DDR3. Windows 10.

Didn't make a bit of difference on Ratchet and Clank from a 3.2 Ghz Phenom II quad core. During the intro most of the time it's hitting 100% but once in the game it drops to 50% or worse when there's a lot of stuff visible. Turn around to a view with less detail and it'll crawl back up to 100% speed.

Selected SSE2 for GS. Checked the MTVU box in speed hacks.

What else do I need to do to get the emulator up to speed?

Metal Gear Solid 3 - Post Processing?

I played through the game on PCSX2 1.2.1 on September 2015. The post-processing was disabled back then, and there were some slowdowns and graphical issues (such as the black smudges on the ground due to issues with the blending). I'm coming back right now, using PCSX2 1.4.0 and I heard that post-processing has been fixed for the game, though I can't find any real confirmation or comprehensive instructions as to how to get it working. I read about toning down the CRC hacks, which I think is a step in the right direction, but the game now has some strange visual artifacts covering the screen, with only the top left corner looking normal. Is this just an issue on my side, or has this just still not been fixed completely? Or has it only been fixed in a later build? Thank you very much in advance. I will post screenshots and more info if needed.

Plugin used : GSdx 20170118191226 (MSVC 19.00 AVX/AVX) 1.1.0
Note : game running on all SW modes, for HW, I have only a black screen.

Bug description : Happens on the first boss (Magnamite), after hitting 3-4 times or more, no actions can be done : seems like that the camera looks to the sky and impossible to center on the live action. (See attachment).
Note : Pause menu can be activated.


Seems to be a graphical bug. A possibility to fix it ? Do I need to check again plugins options, etc... ?

Persona 3 New-Game plus

Hello all!

I've recently finished the game of Persona 3 FES. After you finish and taken back to the menu, you should be able to start a new game and import your save data  from previous games. This is a feature on the PS2, however, my save files dont show up when I try to import. It might be since I'm using the emulator. Is there a work around for this? Thanks in advance.

GSDX OpenGL Vsync + DWM/Aero issues

Been meaning to post about this for awhile.  Saw some topic touching on it a year or so ago that trailed off with no solutions.

I'd like to use the OpenGL mode exclusively, but it has a fairly annoying issue that makes me avoid it in all games that don't need it:  It and Desktop Window Composition/Aero have a broken and forced vsync implementation.  Regardless of whether vsync is enabled in the emulator, or manually toggled in the Nvidia driver settings (have only tested with a few nvidia cards recently: 660, 970, and 1060 GTX models), Windows 8/10's DWM will force its own vsync on the window.  As most of you probably know, you can't disable DWM in 8/10.  The problem with this is that it'll cause the emulator to periodically skip and hitch in a jerky fashion.  The forced vsync will work right for a few seconds, then it'll skip frames in an unevenly paced fashion, then repeat.  This happens in fullscreen and windowed modes, since PCSX2 is a windowed app regardless.  

I can't be the only one who's noticed this.  Is there any fix in sight?  Is there an existing one?  Can someone else run a 60fps game such as Gradius V in Windows 8/10 + OpenGL mode to confirm?  It's just a shame that the better API for the emulator has this problem.  I presume this is not a problem in 7 with Aero disabled but it'd be nice if someone could confirm that too. 

Thanks for checking into it, and the wonderful emulator otherwise.  The improvements in the last year have been amazing.

Army men rts control config help

ok so i just tried playing army men rts but on the build menu it would not let me switch over to the grenadier from the grunt, its like each button press is a double press, the dpad, thumbsticks, it all is a double press in the build menu. i have tried decreasing the sensitivity but that hasnt helped

Hi all... I'm posting this here, though I'm not sure whether it's more appropriate to report it as a bug.

I'm using PCSX2 1.5.0-20160903121852.  I think this was a nightly build from early September, 2016.  (I know that probably sounds noobish, since I'm assuming the first eight digits of the GIT number are the date, but I don't actually know that).

I recently downloaded the newest GIT.  Apparently, at some point between early September and today, one of the devs took the information out of the title bar on the fullscreen mode of PCSX2.  Also apparently, this will cause PCSX2 not to launch through RocketLauncher, because RL uses that information to determine when PCSX2 has finished loading.

Below is a link to the conversation I had with an RL developer.  I'm way out of my depth when it comes to the inner workings of PCSX2 and RL, so maybe if a PCSX2 developer wanted to address the problem and my description above didn't explain it accurately, they can look at the conversation.

Gradius III & IV sound fix

I have been using this game and only a few sounds load. I have checked the wiki and saw that this is a known bug, but the recommended fixes don't seem to work for Macs.

I do not have much knowledge of how the emulator and the computer works, but I am using a version of PCSX2 El Capitan.

Is there any solution to the save bug in Xenosaga Episode I where the save points return to the Memory Card menu. How can I save the game and proceed with my game.

Sorry to be bothering, but I searched in several sites for a solution but I did not find it.
