Burnout Revenge PAL switching to the wrong resolution for Progressive Scan?

With the PAL version of Burnout Revenge, enabling Progressive Scan will result in PCSX2 showing 640x448 instead of 640x480 and the video quality is slightly, but noticeably lower. I don't have the NTSC version to test, but the NTSC version of Burnout 3 does switch as it should. The PAL versions of neither Burnout 3 nor Burnout Dominator support Progressive Scan. This happens in all backends and with the latest version.

Hello apologies if this is posted in the wrong area but figured id get some insight from people perhaps even people with the same pc setup
im running PCSX2 1.2.1 stable and was wondering what settings other people are using?

im trying to achieve a much cleaner and nicer look then the original PS2 whilst maintaining stability across the multiple games i own, so a balance between Quality and Performance

PCSX2 Executable not included with new github builds

I just went to download one of the new builds from github for testing on my R9 Fury, and it didn't come with the main executable. Can someone confirm this issue, and isn't localized to my network?

Of course to reprodue, download the latest build and extract it. Then, check if the exe is there

After swapping from Codebreaker v10

I would like to know if there is a chance for this to work (or none)
After I have applied some cheats from Codebreaker v10
Then start swapping to the game which is Star Ocean - Star Ocean - Till The End Of Time (Not Responding)
My pcsx2 1.3.1-20150824191759 (git) Aug 24 2015 will stop responding and thus the game won't load (with any cheats from CBv10)

I tried some .pnach but some really don't work or should I say almost all didn't work (from Codebreaker)

can pcsx2 play in online mode?

When I download the SVN, there is no executable. I dumped the contents of the SVN file into the complete 1.2.1 install, but I wonder if that's what we're actually supposed to do with it? Does the executable not change during SVN revisions? It would be nice if this were stated somewhere in the SVN section, as it is not intuitive to me at all.

Cheats load but don't work

I've checked everything i could, and i don't know whether I am stupid or just oblivious to what i am doing. PCSX2 will load the cheats(Saying so in the console), but when i enter the game it seems none of them have actually activated. Is this because the version of the game i am running is the demo version? Do i have to start a new game? Do i have to be a certain part in the game?

The game is Final Fantasy X

Here are two examples of my cheats:

//Al Bhed Fully Translated

This is US version i am running too(As far as i am aware)

What software do those of you who make videos use to capture any and all games that has an FPS counter? I am wondering because I want to find out how well some games run on my PC. When I say FPS counter, I mean something kind of like ACCel Destiny's video here:

Accessing Saved Games on Memory Card

Where exactly do I need to go to see what games I have saved on the memory cards? When I venture to the memory cards directory, I see the memory card files themselves but no directory of any saved games. Viewing the cards in PCSX2 doesn't offer (unless I'm just not seeing it) a way to view data on the cards, just options to create, duplicate, rename, etc.

I did create a 32mb card because the 8mb filled up pretty quick but I'd still like to be able to delete and / or transfer saved games from the 8mb to the 32mb if possible.

What pcsx2-v1.3.1-xxxx build do you recommend?
The 1.2.1 version runs stable but the pcsx2-v1.3.1-1106-gece9c7f-windows-x86 version I tried crashed after a while (I posted about it in other thread)

So, using pcsx2ce, omniconvert, and pcsx2, I have not been able to get ANY cheats to work properly for my FFX game (F0800C1E CRC)
I've checked to make sure it's saving as a .pnach, I've made sure it's in the ORIGINAL pcsx2 cheat file, and that the CRC is correct that it's linked to. I've done the conversion based of AR MAX to standard unencrypted coding. I will link my Pnach file (although I mostly just want the al bhed primer volumes code, even though I couldn't find it for my CRC)
Can anyone help me wrap my brain around why this isn't working?

EDIT: Couldn't attach the pnach file or a SS of it showing its coding and that it IS a pnach file, so hopefully a direct image link will work...

version = 1.3.1 i'm using latest pcsx2 build from build bots..

Default settings..

hardware = cpu = i5-2450M,Gpu = 7470M,ram= 4GB RAM,OS= win8.1....

game works fine in hardware mode apart from graphic/texture issue...but when i reach Aquatos http://www.ign.com/wikis/ratchet-clank-u...T,_Aquatos i got this

.....as you can see the ui works fine but environment and ratchet texture are washed out/gone/missing ...so to check it i went back to other level {pheonix} and environment works fine there but ratchet texture are missing......upto that perticular level it plays fine...THE UI AND MENU WORKS FINE..

facing this problem on hardware/software mode...tried hw hacks...i was facing vertical lines so use skipdaw = 1......tried dx9/dx11/opengl hardware/software...

it work normal upto "AQUATOS" level after that even i go back to pheonix the ratchet texture gone missing.....note that THE UI and MENU WORKS FINE....

Build-in recording problem

Hi everyone,

Not sure if I have to post here or in  Hardware/software discussion,

My problem isn't that the record function don't work, but that PCSX2 let me only record uncompressed frame.

I've tried with several releases, both Stable and Dev builds.
 
Yet with Dolphin or Bizhawk, other codecs are recognized. 

My PCSX2 configuration: (I've tried with SSE2-3-4 and AVX)

Hi everyone, i have a problem with GT4 and i did not succeded in varius try to solve it! You guys are my best, and last, hope!
If i start the game without cheats the game runs fine (no fps problems or graphical glitches) but if i start it with cheats active (i whant those big wheels and all that crazy stuff!!!) the game run fine during menus surfing and in every licence test, but as soon as i start a race all the 6 hit the first wall (before the start signal during the autopilot sequence) and start to go at a top speed of 5 kph!!
I even tried to start GT4 with only the master code activated but the situation does not change!

Wireless Headset No Sound

I have a Windows 8.1 PC and I ust got some Turtle Beaches the Z300 wireless headset for the PC. It set the headset up by making it my Default Device for sound output and it works for every other game and emulator I use but not PCSX2. I get no sound from PCSX2 through the headset even when I crank up the volume to the max on my PC and my Headset. Is there a way to make the sound output from PCSX2?

So, I had a ps2 console, but it was pretty old and broke. Closedeyes

By the time that the console had broke I have collection great game this I loved and wish to play in the future. Biggrin

So uh... I downloaded PCSX2 and set it up with everything but for the life of me I can't get the controller to work. Glare

Is it possible to use a ps3 controller for this application? Unsure

 And if so how do I get it to work? Sad

Low FPS in-game

Hey, I know that this is a very common issue, and I searched up and through other posts, but still I have to post about this: what can I do to help the in-game FPS get close as possible to 60 consistently?

I downloaded the emulator to play Tekken Tag Tournament, and after some touch-and-go trials of getting it set-up right, I got the game to work. Thing is, it works at/near full speed during the FMV and title screen (i.e. when there's not much to load), but as soon as it gets to the character select, it drops to around 40 fps, and during a match, it's around 30 fps. For a fast-paced game, that's almost unplayable. It's the same with Bloody Roar 3, except the FMV is just a glitch screen. Devil May Cry won't even start.

I run it on a Samsung Notebook with an i3 processor with speed of 2.5 GHz or something, 4 GB of RAM, Windows 7 x64. I saw that it works better with at least 3, but there are cases it can still run. I tried fiddling with all the video settings and speedhacks. Any suggestions?
