Software mode too slow

My laptop specs:
i3 1005g1  1.2ghz  dual core processor  turbo 3.4ghz.
ram 4gb single channel 2666mhz.
Intel UHD g1 graphics (igpu)
no dedicated gpu
I used pcsx2 1.4 and 1.6
I have to run jackiechan adventures in software mode as hardware mode have lots of graphical glitches. It runs 70 to 80 percent speed. When there are no enemies and with less graphics it runs 100percent speed.
Also I ran mortal kombat shoalin monks which doesn't run in hardware mode due to bad gpu.
so mortal kombat gives only 80 to 90 percent speed.
Also god of war (runs good in hw mode) runs slow in sw mode.
In software mode it gives around 50 percent speed.
After tuning speed hacks there is improvement in performance.
My laptop passmark score is 2308.
My passmark score is higher than pcsx2 recommended passmark score which is 2100.
But still I have slow downs in software mode. I just wanted to know why.
I even tweeked rendering threads, mtvu.....
Is there any separate recommended specs for software mode? I am not able to find in google.

Issues with V1.6.0 cheats

Hi everyone.

So I've had a look at some of the posts regarding cheats not working and its usually because they're not set up properly.

I believe I've set them up properly, as this is what the log says once I've loaded the game:

"Found Cheats file: '0486AD78.pnach'
comment: Write something here
Loaded 4 Cheats from '0486AD78.pnach' at 'C:\Users\ellis\OneDrive\Documents\PCSX2\cheats'
Overall 4 Cheats loaded"


Strange message since I only put 2 cheats into the .pnach file, but still those 2 cheats aren't working.

The game is The Suffering and the cheats were for Infinite ammo/no reload and also Infinite health.

I have attached the .pnach file so you guys can look it over. 

Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

Using PCSX2 without having the window active?

I wanted to use PCSX2 so my girlfriend can play a game on my PC, but I also wanted to use the PC to do stuff while she plays. PPSSPP has it to where you can use the program when the window isn't selected with a controller, and I was wondering if there was a way to also do that with PCSX2?

Zombie Hunters 2 wrong textures

Hi. In the game Zombie Hunters 2 (PAL) some textures appear gray. It occurs in both SW and HW mode, OpenGL and DirectX. I have tried all versions since 1.4.0 and the same thing happens in all versions, some textures appear gray. I attach a screenshot for you to see. Thank you.

Huge First Time Setup Freeze Problem

Im having a huge problem whenever i try to run first time setup on plugins it freezes to a notresponding, ive tried multiple versions of Visual c++ but it isnt getting me anywhere. I also noticed that it will also instantly freeze whenever i try to configure lilypad, any suggestions?

Currently using pcsx2 1.6.0 and I have all my games working great. I'm using a steering wheel and all games work except one. I just added Simpsons road rage and it is not responding to any controls. Need some help

pcsx2 1.6.0 crashing

hello i just downloaded pcsx2 when i came to play the games kept crashing multiple games i installed the portable version i also checked to have installed visual c++ 2015-2019 i have it now it crashes on multiple games the game starts sometimes it gets to the main menu before crashing.. anyone knows what might be the cause? Sad Sad Sad all my configs are on default since i just installed it

Nvidia GT-1030 2Gb (DDR5 version not DDR4)

First time using this emulator and I'm having a hard time trying to play this game. It's going around 50fps, but the fighters are moving like their in water.

Scp Toolkit v1.2.2.175 Issues!

Hello, so first let me start off by saying that i'm using an older version of scp toolkit (v1.2.2.175) because unlike newer versions it doesn't have all of the extra bloat and services running that I don't need. Okay now that that's out of the way let me get to my recent issues with the program. I've been using scp toolkit for a long while now and for the most part it has been working perfectly with my DS3 and DS4, but recently I had to reinstall windows 10 where for some reason  the SCP service and DS3 drivers installed correctly but when I tried to install the DS4 drivers via zagdig (which is in the scp directory) it simply wouldn't install and aborts the driver installation altogether. I've had this issue before and the only solution I could find was to just reinstall windows 10 and try again which sucks and takes forever but it worked, so I tried that method again yesterday but it still didn't fix the issue! I should mention that I'm running Windows 10 build 20H2 where previously I was running build 2004. I suspect that this could be what's causing the issue but I wasn't quite sure so I came here to the forums for help. Any idea's as to what could be the problem?

Red Ninja, Tenchu: Fatal Shadows & Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones codes

Hi

I play PS2 games on my PS2 through OPL and I am looking for hex/pnach codes for the PAL version of these games:

Red Ninja: 
- A code to make the character stop running & automatically crouch when you press the crouch button (currently uou have to manually stop running and then crouching because if not the character won't do it).

Tenchu: Fatal Shadows: 
- A code to disable the black borders and the names display during the stealth kills cutscenes.
- A code to fix the blurriness in some stages.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones:
- A code to disable the button thing during the cutscenes (having to press square in certain moments to execute them) and make them automatic like the Tenchu ones.

If there's someone who could create these codes or any of them I'd really appreciate it.

Huge Framedrops

I have a problem with which there are frequent framedrops to about 1-6 frames for about 20-30 seconds than reverts back to the normal framerate.
It wouldn`t be a problem but like i said it happens frequently, so i would like to ask if anyone has been experiencing any problems like this and if there are any solutions.
