Vulkan renderer in PCSX2?


Ghosting/blurring

Hello chums, I've been scouring the many many various threads where people want to eliminate ghosting in their various games, and I've tried 'em all, to no avail. 

I was hoping there's a fixed answer to how to stop ghosting in PCSX2.

I've tried endless configuration combinations, to no avail. Here's what I see:

ICO, the only game where ghosting adds to the atmosphere.
 
This is a screenshot using the latest nightly build (PCSX2 1.5.0-20190907110945 - compiled on Sep 7 2019)

General settings (have switched these around quite a bit in my experiments):

To try to eliminate the ghosting effect, I've tried toggling the following combinations (based on suggestions in other threads):
 
  • OpenGL / D3D [hardware]
  • Every interlacing option
  • Reducing resolution to native
  • HW hacks:
    • Wild Arms offset
    • Half-pixel offset (all options)
    • Skipdraw (ranging from 1-1 to 3-3)
 
Nothing seems to reduce or eliminate the ghosting. Is there any magic bullet setting that can do this? Something in core settings, perhaps? (like, say, wtf does "preserve sign clamping mode under EE/FPU advanced recompiler options" mean?) 
 
I played through ICO irregardless, as it's such a beautiful game, but I'd love to play it without the ghostly image burn everytime the lil dude runs around a bit...

i cant connect via bluetooth ,i tried everything and i changed the ScpControl.dll, didnt work ,it connected 1 time only and then shortly it disconnected Sad ,any help plz?

I used the 1080i setting before and it worked fine but now when I select in in the option it goes to 1080ii but when I hit ok it switches back to normal resolution

also its the 1080I that's in the games settings when im playing not the 3times resolution in the emulator settings

Lego Batman won't fast boot - Black screen

I'm just getting a black screen when I click "Boot ISO (fast)" with Lego Batman (SLES-55135). Full boot works without any problems.
I have tried with the latest dev build and the latest stable. I think I have the default settings, since I moved all my ini's out of the PCSX2 directory while testing. I'm using portable mode so there's no folder in "Documents".

pcsx2-v1.5.0-dev-3282-ga69cb88b1-windows-x86
PCSX2 1.4.0-20160105132032

Intel Core i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz
64 GB RAM (DDR4-2133)

I've never been able to get this to work, so I thought I'd give asking around a shot. The people here look really helpful!
As you can tell by the subject, I'm getting a runtime error - specifically:

I've poked around a bit, and it seems to be a common issue. I've tried all sorts of fixes that have worked for others, but for the life of me, I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. I saw a post where the OP posted screenshots of their specs, so I thought I might give that a shot. (If if helps, the game I'm trying to run is Persona 3 - I know it should work because my friend is playing through it as well.)
Here's what my specs look like -

Suddenly started having issues with the PSC2 Plugins and Bios. I launched games fine earlier in the morning, but later in the day I suddenly started getting these errors:

Path: H:\Folder\Folder\PCSX\PCSX2 1.4.0\Plugins\gsdx32-avx2.dll
File is not a valid dynamic library.
[wx] Failed to load shared library 'H:\Folder\Folder\PCSX\PCSX2 1.4.0\Plugins\gsdx32-avx2.dll' (error 1114: a dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.)
Some kinda plugin failure: H:\Folder\Folder\PCSX\PCSX2 1.4.0\Plugins\gsdx32-avx2.dll


And when launching games now I get a:

CDVD READ ERROR, sector = 0x00115f55


I made no changes to any PCSX2 settings from earlier in the morning to now. I've completed refreshed, uninstalled, reinstalled and anything else I could think to do on multiple drives and nothing has solved this issue and for the life of me I can't find any reason as to why.

NetPlay 3 People Problem.

We cant play 3 people on netplay, we trying to play Digimon World 4. But only works at 2 guys. somebody knows how we can play?.

We can connect 3 people, but i think multitap of lilypad bugs all the game.

PSX emulation high sound pitch?

Hello.

I've tried emulating a few PS1 games via PCSX2, and they seem to work alright. FMV's are a bit bugged on some games, which doesn't really bother me, but an issue that keeps happening constantly on all games is that ALL sounds are high-pitched. Another issue is that music doesn't seem to play correctly, 007 Racing (Europe) plays absolutely fine on ePSXe with working music, but on PCSX2 there is no in-game BGM or for example the credits BGM. The menu BGM does work though. Anyone got an idea how to fix these high pitched sounds and music missing? I've tried many different settings.

Help with the gigaherz dev9 plugin

So, I have the gigaherz dev9 installed, with wincpap to get it to be able to change and everything like that, but it still says that there isn't a network adapter in the "console" when I try to Use the LAN feature on Gran Turismo 4. I'd really like to play with my friends. Any help?

Hi Guys,

I've been using PCSX2 with D3D hardware for a while and it runs perfectly. However I wanted to use OpenGL renderer and it only runs about 15FPS where D3D would get 100+ FPS.

I've already read other threads and tried the recommendations to no avail.

System Specs
CPU: i9-9900K @ 3.6GHz

Pcsx2 Setting Zoomed in too Much

Some games run slow so i hear changing the settings might help but i cant save the settings i change. It only shows the top 3/4 of the settings screens. I feel like its a very simple problem but i'm stumped. i tried all the keyboard hotkeys i could think of. I usually can see the settings i want to change but i cant see the save at the bottom.
Is anyone else having the same issue? I tried looking through the forums but i didnt find anything on it.

Nvidia Geforce 550ti is my card if that has anything to do with it

Pcsx2 crashes

Pcsx2 crashes whenever i try to browse for iso
CDVD>Iso selector > Browse> Crash no messages nothing it just crashes i tried different versions samething
any body got a fix for this

Hi, I'd like to delete my account but I don't have the option to do it myself from my User Control Panel.
Thus I'm asking it here.
I don't use this account anymore and it stays as a ghost account, consuming unnecessary ressources.

LilyPad Feature Not Working on ePSXe

I'm trying to use LiliyPad with ePSXe v2.0.5, and the screensaver-delaying feature doesn't seem to be working.  LilyPad v0.10.0, v0.11.0, and v0.12.1 all seem to have the issue.

Patch that adds hot keys for state slots.

2 players 1 controller (PCSX2+Parsec).

I would like to play a single-player game (KH) with a friend on Parsec but i don't know how to set 2 different controllers for the same player.
Does someone know how to do that?

Gran Turismo 4 several issues

So I don't think the shader is working for me, all it really does is make the game really bright and makes anything that isn't pitch black unreadable - yes I do turn it off in menus, but even in-game its almost impossible to read what position am I in and seeing my time is a challenge in of itself..

Also, someone else complained that the game lags at the start of a race in 4k, I have the same issue and dropping down to 1440p fixed it, thats really weird because I have an RTX 2060...
Also, trying to get to B Licence Test 3 seems to freeze the game at the loading screen.
