Lag/Choppy game in large cluttered areas.

Hello. I have had this emulator for a few days now and I have to admit its great. On my actual PC, it works very well at 100%. However, on my cheap Chinese laptop, not so much. I just wanted to play Simpsons: hit and run like on my old PS2. I did enough tweaks (the best plugins for me, very low internal resolution and -2 and 2 for EE cyclerate and VU cycle stealing respectively. Because of all this, I get a constant 75% - 80% with around 50 frames which is great. However, the game still runs like 15 fps. It is very choppy and it is much worse when looking into a long road than, for instance, the back garden with nothing beyond. I really am quite a noob around this plugin so it could be my settings, or it could be something else. Please help!  Biggrin

Hello, sorry if this does not go here, I did not know where to publish it, besides I do not understand English, I want to play PES 2014 on PCSX2 but it does not work well, someone can pass me the configuration of PCSX2 that I should put to play this game and also tell me which is the best version of PCSX2 for the PES ?, all that taking into account the requirements of my laptop that are these:

-Windows 10 64 bits
-Intel UHD Graphics 620
-NVIDIA GeForce MX150
-8 GB RAM

Atelier Iris Eternal Mana Opening Intro Lag and no sound?

Hello there guys so i started playing Atelier iris eternal mana like 5 minutes ago but im having 2 issues. The first issue is : After we fight the bird at the beginning of the game theres this intro cutscene but im not getting any sound and it lags even tho im not dropping frames. The second issue happens once in a while when the chars are talking, their voice stutters. Ive tried the standalone version 1.4.0, tried the nightly build and still same issue. My emulator settings are default. Im using OPGL Hardware but i already tried the software one too still the same. 

My Rig : i7 7700k, GTX1070 TI, 16gb RAM 

Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance.

I'm looking to build a new PC to upgrade from the i7 4790k/GTX 970 combo I'm running right now. When I built my PC back in 2014 I was under the impression that Intel/Nvidia was the way to go, especially for emulation. Fast forward to 2019 and AMD's Zen 2 CPUs and Navi GPUs have been getting positive reviews. Now I'm starting to lean toward AMD, but I'm somewhat concerned about the single thread CPU performance compared to Intel and OpenGL performance on AMD.

To those who have a better understanding on tech than I, would there be significant performance difference between brands (assuming were comparing recent models in the same price bracket) and how much would new hardware benefit PCSX2 performance at all compared to what I'm currently using?

Is there a way to save to all 10 save slots simultaneously?

So basically what I'm asking is if there's an option when pressing F1, it saves to all 10 save slots instead of just 1. Or maybe there's another hotkey specifically for this? I tried to just spam F1 and F2 but it seems like there's a delay to how often I can save. Seems to be 4 seconds so I can't spam it.

nuvee plugin question

I am using nuvee plugin for pcsx2 epsxe and pcsxr so i can emulate the mouse to work as a light gun there is an option for hidden or visable cursor i have it on visable but does not show on epsxe or pcsx2 blind firing or what but works on pcsxr so i have to use lilypad on pcsx2 so to see the cursor.
But lilypad is to eratic on epsxe.
Is there a way to get the mouse cursor to show on screen thanks mark.
Also the mouse cursor on pcsxr is there any way to make it bigger thanks again.

Guilty Gear XX (X2) Display settings help.

Currently I am using PSX2 1.4.0 and thus far the game runs pretty well, with one TINY little exception.

The Tension Hud display barely shows up at all on-screen.

I have it set to 4:3 resolution but for some reason the Tension gauges barely show up... and if I go in to in-game options and set the Tension bars to "Original Position" they disappear completely.

I'm not sure what Guilty Gear X2's native arcade resolution display is supposed to be.

I don't have this problem with later games because I can just simply switch to Progressive Mode and everything displays just fine... but GGXX is unique in that it doesn't have a Progressive Mode setting.

If anyone has any advice, please help me out here.  I'm currently using GSdxOGL, OpenGL, 8-bit allowance, 640x480 custom resolution, Bilinear PS2 Texture filtering, Full Safest CRC Hack, High End PC blending.

FMV slow and no audio in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks

Hi! I have this little issue with MK: Shaolin Monks, everything apppears to run perfectly, except FMVs (at least the first one), which have no sound and run slower than normal. I'm attaching my settings. I don't know if this info is useful but I also tried the PS2 core in RetroArch (I think it's Play), and I have the opposite problem there; the graphics of normal gameplay are botched, but the FMV runs perfectly. I don't seem to have this issue in other games, I saw MGS2Wackoubstance intro with no problem, SH4 opening and beginning credits scene. I would appreaciate any help.

QemuUSB steering wheel bug.

I am currently using PCSX 1.4.0 and i am using the QemuUSB plugin for my steering wheel.
Lateley, this plugin has started to present a bug, in which the wheel, at a centered position, results to steer a bit to the left

My wheel is a Logitech G29. I have already tried different plugin and pcsx versions. i have tried PS3/4 wheel modes. i have already tried using Driving force pro/ GT force. I have also tried to use RawInput. None of that works. Any help?

OPL.ELF widescreen is no longer works on HW

so about a week ago i made this tutorial about improving widescreen hack by using OPL

This works on pcsx2 1.5.0-3272 HW and SW 
but on pcsx2 1.5.0-3278 only SW works
(dont swap between HW and SW lik i say in the tutorial)

the emulator settings were always the default settings with no hacks

Guide:
The Gameplay is 120 fps
But cutscenes and menues are 60 fps
so you need to active Turbo mod In gameplay but disable it In cutscenes and menues
Also set Audio sync to Async mix
Note:  God hand gage is drain 2x faster
And special effects are being played 2x faster.

Ok newbie here... I got the latest version of PCSX2 installed on my win 10 64 bit computer and it boots to the PS2 home screen
I can look at my memory cards, and system settings, but I have no option for anything else?  I am trying to play GT4 from a disc that is loaded in my DVD player. it doesn't work with any of my PS2 games, I have tried a few, most notably GT3, GT4, Vice City, and Sand Andres.  I have not tried making iso's from them yet.    
I know you will want logs and I will upload those as soon as I get home, I just keep forgetting to post this so I though I would post this and see if anyone knows what the issue may be with out logs.  
I tried searching the forum and didn't' find anything, other then someone who posted the same issue a week or two ago, but the thread got locked as soon as he mentioned that he was trying to run downloaded isos.  I am not.  I can post pics of the game discs if needed.   
thanks for all the help!  I can't wait to play some of my PS2 games again, Mainly GT4.  
also what controller do you use?  I have, Xbox1, PS4, and PS3 controllers that I can use.  what works the best?

first sorry for the bad english

Guys it's been a long time since I've been racking my brains to know what's going on, and I've come here hoping for someone who has already solved something like that. Here's how I played on the driving force simulator driving force GT perfectly! beautiful and wonderful, but I needed to format the pc, and in doing what was simple for me (had already done) become hell. In the part where you select the "USBqemu-wheel" plug-in to configure Driving Force it does not appear in the list of options only the original USBnull, anyone has any idea what might be preventing the selection of a plugin.

Gran Turismo 4 micro-lag/stuttering

Had a hankering for some GT3/4 and decided to finally get them to run well on my PC after having pcsx2 installed for at least a year. Runs fantastic minus micro-lag and stuttering while racing, or all the time at an interval with OpenGL.

Current settings:
-EE clamping full
-VU clamping extra+preserve sign
-MTVU hack
-DX11
-bob ttf
-8 bit textures enabled
-2-3x resolution
-Mipmaping auto
-CRC full
-Blending none
-Align sprite and proper coordinates

Also running Windows 10, i5-7600, GTX 1080ti, 16gb ram. Tried originally on 1.4.0 and then 1.5.0. Only tried OpenGL on 1.5 and had a very annoying stutter every few seconds, even in the menus. My main annoyance is towards the end of a race or after passing AI, the game starts to stutter or lag randomly, EE is still around 100% and ~59-60fps. Don't know if it's just my CPU not being able to catch up or just GT4 being itself; it's manageable but can get irritating. Thanks in advance!
