Need help setting up controller

Hello! Recently I wanted to play some of my favorite games on PS2 and came across this emulator, Downloaded everything hooked up my controller and in-game the controller doesn't seem to work. I'm using an esperanza Fighter egg105b (some weird controller but does the job). The controller itself works fully, all buttons work correctly but for some reason none of the controls work in game. Any help will be appreciated!

Besides the obvious 50/60Hz where ntsc are simply superior, are there any other changes someone must take note of? I remember back in the day, i needed an RGB Scart cable to play ntsc games on my european PAL console otherwise they would appear black. So what does that tell us about colorspace, do NTSC games lack certain colorspace?

Also is there any game specific list, like for example i know the pal and ntsc japan version of ffx (international) had more things to do and various extra stuff.

SSX 3 Network Setup menu not rendering correctly

I put this under General Discussion because, although though it discusses a specific game, it's not exactly about the game itself.

Using the CLR DEV9 plugin that's available, I can enable the Online option in SSX 3.  However, the resulting menu doesn't display correctly, even with Software mode.  It seems to be a BIOS-specific menu since it uses the same graphical style.  I know that the servers will never exist again, but I wanted to see what this menu looked like.

Help please, my games are slower

I am experiencing a 40-50% slowdown on all my games
At first I thought it was the Dev build I had used : pcsx2-v1.5.0-dev-2964-g31d95448e-windows-x86, so I did a clean install of 1.4
But I am still experiencing framerates at 30-45 fps.
My EE is in the 90s and my GS is below 10

I switched between 3 different games, same issues.

Converting Ntsc 60fps .pnach into Pal for MGS3s

Hello everyone, it's been weeks that I try to convert the code to unlock the 60fps in metal gear solid 3 Subsistance, I tried all the possible ways, in other games I managed to convert them without problems but unfortunately in mgs3s I have no reference points inside ps2dis, is there a tool that converts it automatically? or an easier way to identify the correct line?
Unfortunately, all the nearby lines have the same values and I can not retrieve the corresponding line in the Italian version of the file.
I really do not know where to bang my head.
The code for the ntsc-u is this:

MGS2 Without Pressure Sensitive Buttons

I used to use a PS3 controller, but now I have an Xbox One controller (no pressure sens. buttons). I think I just need the square button to be pressure sensitive to put down my gun without firing. Is there a way to simulate this? Maybe have L3 simulate slowly releasing square?

Hey there everyone,
First of all i hope I'm posting this in the right thread never used forums much..
I'm a new user, loving the emulator so far but I found that creating game configs for each game was a bit tedious, so I decided to write some scripts and a simple cli to help automate the configuration of the new presets you can find them here ScriptsCli
As a kid I played a lot of ps2 (pcsx2 brings back so many good memories) and always wanted to be able to make my own games the first time I tried writing C++ found that it was harder than what I had previously anticipated, let alone 3D editing, animating, networking and all that nice stuff   Blink 

And this is probably already known but since I couldn't find it just letting everyone know that using HW hacks alpha fixes the shadows in Jak and Daxter series but I'm still experiencing some texture issues in Jak 3 right at the start in the arena I'm using:
  • PCSX2 v1.5.0-dev-2948-gdabc99f46 
  • preset 3
  • EE Cyclerate -1
  • MTVU
  • Direct3d 11 hardware
  • GSdx-sse4
  • allow 8-bit
  • HW hack alpha
  • no mipmapping

Is the .OBJ screenshot feature no longer available?

Hello,

In the older versions of PCSX2, one could create a screenshot with Shift + F8 and the game would create a .bmp, a .gs, and an .obj file. The .obj file feature could be useful for extracting 3D models of characters or objects, whether it be for archival or artistic reference purposes. The problem is, in the newer versions (1.4.0 and later), taking a screenshot results with only a .bmp and .gs, and .obj files are no longer generated. I've attempted downgrading PCSX2 but the game I was using couldn't run. I have searched for an answer on the forums before but did not understand how the original poster solved their issue. Could anyone give me any advice?

Hey I'm new here  and I wan to share my cheat engine for this table. because why not?
This game is rarely played 
this table does not contain thing such as HP or Camouflage (there easier ways like Codebreaker)
but the point of this table is cheating in a unfair way.

Some titles are in spanish but easy to figure out
hombro=shoulder
brazo=arm
Tiendas=store

and 15 wild machines(an unlockable by defeating rankers)

The address of this may change but and easy way to find his value is:
         1.-Go to mechanic once inside  scan for 65535 with 2 byte TYPE
         2.-Go to BODY MODS and search for
             2.1- if the body is a PROTON search for 0
                    if the body is KHT search for 1
                    if the body is CARRO search for 2
                    if the body is ZWERG search for 3
                    if the body is HARTMAN search for 4

do not pass the max values or the game will freeze
   max value for body-mods is 0-7
   max value for legs-mods is 0-32
   max value for arm-mods is 0-45
   max value for shoulders-mods is 0-45
   max value for option-mods is 0-99? (I don't really know what is the max value here there is tons of useless thing)

DS4windows doesnt see my controller

I hope I posted this to the right thread;; sorry if not! I'm new here

SO, my problem is simple

I have a wired PS4 controller, no ps4, but a strong pc
I use playstation now to play games

I downloaded DS4 windows, but no matter what I try, it just.. doesn't see my controller??

the drivers and everything are up to date, and most fixes online are for wireless controllers which I still tried but they didn't work

now for most things it's not been a problem but when I play bloodborne and want to do something silly like an emote, the touchpad just doesn't do anything so I can't.

I'm at a loss as to what to do, it's kind of weird how DS4windows just.. doesn't see my controller, I tried messing around with it to see if it'd notice my controller anywhere but to no avail

help?

Hi, i've been playing with Playnite (looks sorta like launchbox, but i never tried that) and it works great, although every time i want to play a different game that uses different settings, i have to set them manually on pcsx2 itself, so is there a way to run every game on a different config?
Note: it uses shortcut parameters like "-gamemode" on hl2

Silent Hill 2 — how to disable map transitions?

There's a fading animation which lasts for around three seconds when opening and closing/changing the map. The map is likely on average opened hundreds of times in a playthrough as the game doesn't have any HUD. I assume that no loading occurs on the background as the map is a static 2D image.

Hello! I am trying to get VP2 running on pcsx2. It's the only game I have that I can't get to run. It flawlessly shows the intro video/scene and then after I select new game goes to a black screen. I am running 1.4.0. Here are my hardware specs: Intel i7-4770k @ 350ghz - AMD R9 390 - 32GB ram installed. I tried using the setup for the middle and bottom tier listed here https://wiki.pcsx2.net/Valkyrie_Profile_2:_Silmeria , I also attempted manual hacks and enabling the tri ace fix(although star ocean 3 works fine without). I am booting from ISO, pulled from a friend's DVD that doesn't seem too scratched up. Also have tried both Open GL hardware/software and DirectX 11 hardware/software. Each time it loads and gets to the new game select screen, then once I choose anything including options it goes to a black screen.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams Glitches/help

Onimusha 4 Glitches up on me when I start it and once it's on the home screen. Intro video played fine, videos in-between play fine. Stage intros, plus gameplay and music are slow. Was wondering if someone has it working well and if they could tell me the proper plugin setup. I've tried several versions from several sites. All end up the same.
