Double Edges on GTA Vice City

$

There are double edges on all objects/people in GTA Vice City (screenshot below).
I have tried all renderers, selecting Wild Arms Offset, changing Texture Filtering and Half-pixel Offet, and increasing Skipdraw but nothing solves the problem.
I have tested it on two versions of PCSX2 on two computers (v1.5 on i5 with GT720 and v1.4 on i7 with HD5450, both on Windows 7), but the problem exists on both systems.

GTA San Andreas does not have such problem. Only GTA VC is having these double edges.

Any ideas to solve the issue?

Thank you.

Soulcalibur III slow after various changes

Hi, I have a very good PC with a geoforce GTX 1050ti, and for some reason I put my graphics to optimal settings that I see on youtube, hacks and everything, and Soulcalibur III is still barely able to hold a constant 60 fps. I really need to know if there are any specs on my PCSX2 that I'm missing or something, because I feel like I have a problem. Also the farthest i can go is GSDX10 with my graphics card... is something wrong with it?

Where can I get Lilypad 0.12.1?

Spider-Man 2 PAL Multi-5 Starts in French

Hello, i am testing Spider-Man 2 (SLES-52372) Info: http://redump.org/disc/11526/
I've tried booting with "No-Disc" and confirmed the language setting to be "English".
Still the game launches in French.
Same ISO burned and played on US Modchip PS2 plays in English.

Is there any trick, cheat or something to switch languages? Other than choosing it on the BIOS which isn't working for this specific game.

Thanks!

First off hello new guy here
second I do have a ps2 related question
I read the faqs the best I could so it what I say warrants any punishing I fully understand it but I've looked around and haven't really found anyone in the same situation as me so here it is.

I don't have a cd drive so as I understand it you need to rip from the ps2 disk
and I do own the games that plan to play but does not having a cd drive mean I am just out of luck as far as using this program.

PCSX2 - ¿valores?, ¿cheats?

$

Buenas tardes.

I am trying to use mymc to put a save game file I downloaded onto a memory card so I can load it, as I lost my dark cloud save somehow and its not showing in my folders. It keeps giving me an error about the memory card image.

I was curious if anyone would be willing to help me with a blank card and putting this save on it for me so I can load it. Ive tried the other methods and just haven't been successful.

Hasbro Family Game Night has a video issue

Note in the gallery the picture put up by someone else...I get the same exact thing.

The right half of the game's opening screen is doubled and the left half is missing.

Before that, the audio leading up to the game's opening screen (where it shows the PlayStation 2 graphic) is choppy.

Thank you for your time and suggestions.

Distant texture flickering THPS3

Hey! I've been playing THPS3 lately and it's almost perfect. I'm getting a solid 60FPS and textures look crisp. However there's certain textures ("overlay" textures like grafitti, windows on buildings, sponser stickers, etc) that flicker when the player isn't close to them. It's been driving me crazy! I feel like I've tried everything including skipdraw. The only thing that seems to work is software mode but then I lose scaling. NOT worth it IMO. Running on a 7700k and 1070Ti. Any ideas? Or is almost perfect as good as it gets?

Need some PCSX2 guidance

$

Hello dear internet anonymous friends,
(thanks ahead for taking some time to read my post)

So, installed PCSX2 via Wine on my MBP .  Although it runs ok (I mean, it's free, can't really complain), it slows down throughout certain parts when I'm playing FFX (the sole reason I wanted PCSX2 for in the first place), and it's simply ruining the whole experience.

I've been reading various threads that suggests tweaks to the PCSX2 settings to help with the issue, have implemented this configuration guide, and I've also encountered threads suggesting to use Crossover or to use Bootcamp to run Windows 10 and run PCSX2 through those avenues. Currently, I'm still using PCSX2 via Wine but would like to know what process I should use to optimize my PCSX2 experience on my MBP while keeping drawbacks to a minimum, if not completely avoid (I'm only going to be playing FFX).

Perhaps I could get better performance running a dual boot (Windows 10), and simply using that for my emulating. But I read that my laptop model (late 2011) is incompatible and encounters issues when dual booting win10, so other sources suggests I install Windows 7 instead to avoid the issues.

Thianonymous internet ghost friend claims to have installed win10 without problems on a Late-2011 MBP, but it took "more than 35 hours". Wow!

In any case, I don't really mind taking the time to hack any one of these processes out, be it Crossover, Win10 or 7 Bootcamp (I wouldn't mind trying to dual boot Linux instead either, I've used it for my Virtual Machine in the past), Anyway, there seem to be various roads to take to the destination,

So, in short, tl;dr, can a tech savvy fella suggest what avenue would be best to take with regard to my specs?

MBP (Sierra (10.12)) (Late 2011):
  • 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
  • 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
  • Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
(Also, not sure if it matters, read somewhere that it didn't, but I just replaced my HDD with a 1TB SDD)

Please help a confused fella out  Wacko

Was Eternal Poisons Dialog text ever fixed?

I noticed on the wiki
https://wiki.pcsx2.net/Eternal_Poison

that someone said it worked perfectly but when I downloaded a dev build v1.5.0-dev-2638-gbb5d120a3 and tested it still seemed the same. Does anyone know if it was ever fixed? When I looked up the problem a long time ago it made it sound like the problem was so esoteric that it wasn't going to be fixed.

God of War 1 - Press O to initiate the minigame above enemy's head is not working

$

God of War 1 level 1- Press O to initiate the minigame when it appears above an enemy's head is not working when I press on the key letter O in my keyboard which is mapped to Circle (O). It does look like he tries to grab something with his hands when I press it, but it doesn't seem to respond to it when I need to initiate the minigame, so the enemy life line gets restored and I'm stuck without the ability to pass this part.

See below the screenshots of the place (level 1 inside the ship) where it happens and how it's mapped in my controller plugin. Note: I tried several times, and also tried to position the protagonist in a more central location where the dragon head lays, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I think I tried a long press on the O, or a repeated O press and nothing (and obviously, I first press X to close the message below, before trying to hit O).

Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Seek and Destroy not displaying title screen

$
0

None of the rendering methods will display the title screen at all. It's just black with music playing.
The only time I can sometimes get the title screen to display is when I disable the frame limiter to speed through the intros.
Then I get a flickering title screen, but if I go to new game, black screen again.
1.5.0-dev-2638.

I've tried a bunch of hardware hacks but nothing seems to do much of anything.
