A 60FPS gameplay/30FPS FMV patch for the original Kingdom Hearts II?

I can't seem to find the cheats for the original USA version of Kingdom Hearts II that enable 60FPS during gameplay and disable 60FPS during FMVs. I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction

Hello i am currently playing through kingdom hearts 2 final mix on pcsx2 and i have an i5-8600k @5.0ghz and a gtx 1080ti and in the audio settings i saw that it was at 100ms so i was wondering what are the lowest possible settings i can put it at? It ran fine at 15ms with time stretch and async mix but should i keep those off and run it without the synchronization like time stretch and async mix? I never have any performance issues and i always run at 3x and why doesn't OpenGL have anti-ailsing?

I'm new to the PCSX2 and so far the problem I'm having with it is that it randomly drops speed and making the game go slow. That usually happens when the precincts in the EE goes around to 100% to 90% (Don't know what EE stand for) and making it slow. I'm using an about 8-year-old Alienware laptop for this games So is there a way to fix this and I would like to know why it doing that. Also is there a way to make the games more full screen or are there stick in just a small box?

hi everybody ,

i usually use pcsx2 wiki for the emulation settings and it says to not use a custom resolution higher than 1240x1240 in the pal(eu) version .
I've solved this problem with configuration>video>plugin settings>configure hacks>allign sprite

Flatpak, gs plugin failed to open - MUSL

Hello PCSX2 forums! I'm currently trying to get PCSX2 to work in Flatpak on my laptop - my laptop runs Void Linux MUSL. 

Whenever I try to launch a game, it spits out this error:

"GS plugin failed to open. Your computer may have insufficient resources, or incompatible hardware/drivers."

How can I get a more exact error? I don't understand how I'm supposed to go about investigating this error because its so generic....
It appears the GS plugin "GSdx (GCC 6.2.0, SSE2) 1.0.0 [libGSdx-1.0.0]" uses GCC 6.2.0, but I don't have GCC6 on my computer... Flatpak supports GCC 7 & 8, my distro has GCC 8.2.

Unfortunately it appears I cannot build PCSX2 for MUSL, because of the lack of lib32 libraries I guess. Does anyone here use the flatpak PCSX2 app successfully? Can anyone tell me it currently is working on their setup in flatpak?

PCSX2 temporarily not registering input after saving some games

This glitch happened to me in 2 games so far: Jak 3 and Ratchet & Clank 3. For some reason, sometimes after saving the game, the emulator doesn't register any input, pressing anything will make Windows mark it as "not responding" and the screen will freeze (attachment), but after a few seconds it starts working properly. Ratchet & Clank 3 is still playable, but Jak 3 does that for too long, and it automatically crashes. This doesn't happen with any other game I've played so far. Is there any way to remove this weird bug?

Text missing on menus - The Urbz Sims in the City

Hi everyone, 

I am new here, I have never used PCSX2 before, so I am a total noob to this. I really had the urge to play this game again, but unfortunately I no longer have access to a PS2 at this very moment, so I have the emulator. 

Most settings in PCSX2 are left at their default settings, I have only really changed the controller settings and that's about it. 

The game seems to launch without issues from the original disk. There does appears to be some text missing which makes the game very difficult to play.

Please see screenshot 1 attached, the menu seems to not be rendering correctly, I can hear the swooping sounds when I try to get through the menu, but I just don't see any changes.

If you look at screenshot 2, it gives you an idea for how the menu should be rendered. Is there something I can try here to see if I can fix it?

PCSX2 1.4.0 and tokyo xtreme racer 3

alright straight to the point, i just download pcsx2 1.4.0 and i set my own settings the problem is that i can see a little speed/issue. when i go to "free run" mode i have 55/60 fps all good but when i want to try to race with others cars fps drops to 43/48 other strange thing is when i switch to front camera immediately goes to 55/60 fps what happend here?

MGS3 graphic issues

Hello dear community, i'm new in this so i apologize any mistake i've could done
I recently got PCSX2 v1.4.0 and i wanted to play MGS3 but i got some graphics issues, with the OpenGL (Hardware) plugin the game ran at high FPS but there were some textures and shadows missing, i tried DirectX (Hardware) puglins but i got the same results, plus all the Software plugins ran really slow, then i tried the latest build v1.5.0 and the textures problem were solved but now it's very laggy and slow and sometimes it crash, probably there's something wrong with my configuration, but since i'm new in this i couldn't understand many of the solutions i read in this forum, also, there's a chance that it might be my computer's fault but i think my PC is not that bad Sad, here are my PC specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7 8th Gen-8550U @ 1.80GHz
RAM: 16GB
HDD: 2TB
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 620 with OpenGL 4.5 and DirectX 9, 11.0

Build 1.5.0 and Last Raven: Frequent hanging on loads

To preface this, I want to say that Last Raven on 1.5 emulates wonderfully. Managed to beat the game no less than 6 times with no issue over the past week or so. However, that said a recent issue has apparently cropped a day or so ago where after loading a level once any subsequent load causes the program to become unresponsive and the video locks up, however the emulation is clearly continuing on in the background with out issue. This will happen several times before Pcsx outright crashes without an error message. Oddly enough, this also persists through the last 3 GIT builds available.

Below is a video showcasing this. Has my system specs and emulation settings at the end.


Not listed in the video is Speccy saying I have a generic i7 Cpu, should say 8700k, and the audio plugin window and its settings. 
 
I got nothing as to what could possibly be causing this. I've tried every variation of audio plugin settings, tried reading straight from my disk copy of the game and a rip of the iso from that disk plus another one found elseware. Tried playing it from each of my drives, all have the same issue. It's not existent in 1.4 but the game runs poorly in software mode in that release. So far with my testing I've only manage to have this happen with LR. Nexus and NB, both games that run on the same engine, do not have this issue. None of my hardware is overclocked either, and nothing hardware or software wise has changed over the past week, leaving me scratching my head as to what could cause this.

I have Dragon Ball z Budokai 3 not ten..whatever and ive watched youtube videos downloaded the cheat converter and i just cant seem to get it to work

Needing help with Guitaroo Man

Hello o/

The thing is, I'm playing Guitaroo Man now and every stage has a weird slow down or speed up that ruins the rythm. It's unplayable reaching Stage 7 (the one with the skeletons), it runs from 50 to 120 fps, seriously. But it's not only Guitaroo Man, I always have framerate problems in almost every game, there are few games that I could play perfectly. My configurations are a GTX 1050ti 4Gb, 8Gb RAM, AMD FX 6300 six-core. I need help configuring the emulator please, I want to play those sweet PS2 titles so badly XD

Cannot use pcsx2 1.2.1

Hi guys have just loaded pcsx2 1.2.1 on my desktop ,all appears fine then i get that dreaded error box . It says this application has ended runtime in an unusual way . Any ideas ,a uninstall and reinstall has no effect. I think that there's a problem with the visual c++ but when its in the system files there's no way to uninstall when it was part of the pcsx2 install. Tim.

DS4 controller support rant(kinda)

This is a slight rant about why in the name of ***** can the emulator naturally support  360 controllers but not ds4? at the very ***** least ds4 is actually by the same company who made the ps2 but you go ahead and make it support it's competitor's controller, I know there's ways to get it working but holy ***** is it annoying, i got it working with inputmapper once then it went and ***** it self up the ass.

I'm sorry but am I the only one who thinks it's actually dumb as ***** to not have support for ds4 controllers without having to install anything?

Need for Speed Underground not smooth

Hi guys this is my first post and im pretty new to PCSX2 so bare with me. I really love the game NFS underground altough it seems to not run smooth on my pc. Somebody posted this 60fps code: 2011060C 2C420001. Although i dont know how to use this code and where. Furthermore i dont think my pc is underpowered cuz it has pretty decent specs. I really just want to get this game running right i have tried PCSX2 1.4.0 and Also a GIT version but it doesnt seem to run smooth every single time. Help would be greatly appreciated ;D.

Can't use OpenGL on recent builds

Hi, I recently installed a bunch of the most recent versions of PCSX2(the 2567 and 2571 builds) and I noticed I cannot use the OpenGL renderer(software and hardware). It's odd because before I downloaded the most recent versions, I used one from may(2379) and in that one, I'm able to use OpenGL and pick an Adapter. The graphical plugin is SSE2. I've tried with SSE4.1 but the result is the same. I cannot use AVX2 because my CPU doesn't support it(i5-3570K).

My drivers are up to date(AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.9.3; AMD R9 280), reinstalled, clean installation(DDU) with no errors whatsoever. Windows up to date, too, AFAIK.

As I said, if I just open the older May build I'm able to use OpenGL, but if I use most recent build I'm not able to pick an Adapter on OpenGL or use it, whatsoever.

I have a AMD Radeon HD 6570 video card and a Intel® Core™ i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.5GHz. I know i need a better video card to run PCSX2 to run 6X or 8X native. I am looking for video card suggestions on how to be able run PCSX2. I am looing at spending around $100.00. Any help would be appreciated.
