PCSX2 Running normal and then Suddenly Slow

My pcsx2 is Running normal at 100% but suddenly it became slow and then normal after 1 min and repeat slow running and choppy sound.

My Laptop Specs.
  • ASUS TUF Gaming FX504
  • Intel Core i5 8300
  • 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050
  • 8 GB Ram

visual glitch in emulator gameplay

alright, so I recently downloaded pcsx2, and immediately got Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2. the game plays spendidly, with no manual error, but the colors in the game seem to change at times in cutscenes. (this is only with character models. not backrounds, nor 2d sprites like the character bubbles or faces.) an example would be goku appearing to be green while fighting vegeta in one of the cutscenes. this isn't extremely important, but i'd like to see if there's any way to fix this

In the picture below, you can see a pretty good example of Vegeta's model being miscolored.

Manage Mouse (Wiimote) in pcsx2 can you?

Can you configure touchmote for wii command in pcsx2? I have tried with mouse and shot and throw grenades, change of weapon but what it is to move the mouse correctly with wiimote is impossible and in other emualdores like MAME, Sega Model 2 and 3 goes of luxury.

Any help or suggestion?

Hey guys, I have an eXtReMeLy low spec laptop and I wanna know how to optimize PCSX2 to work on it. 

My specs are as follows:
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Intel Pentium J3710 @ 1.60GHz
4.00GB DDR3 @ 1599MHz
HP 832C (CHV)
Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 405

I don't wanna hear your opinion on how bad my laptop is lmao but I just wanna know if there any mods or eXtReMe optimizations I can do to make it work. I question it sometimes because I can run high spec games like Borderlands 2, Burnout Paradise and Driver San Francisco but I cant run a PS2 emulator. If someone could help me do some eXtReMe tweaking and make it run at at least 20 fps then I would be eXtReMeLy happy.

Slow FPS

I'm new here and I made this account cause I need some help. I'm trying to play Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge but the framerate is so slow, running at between 30 and 40%. I'm thinking my computer is just not powerful enough. Here are my laptop specs.

My friend and I are trying to play Budokai tenkaichi 3, and when we fight, the game slows down. Any way to fix the lag? like setting the 1-15 number to a certain number that works better than others?

Hey Folks,

I'm having an issue with emulation. The game works flawlessly except for doing the rapid ascension/descent DBZ BT3. Holding L2+R1/R2 does not allow me to rapid dash straight up or down which is kind of critical in this game. Does anyone else have this issues/resolution for this issue?

GOD OF WAR 1&2 Pcsx2
hello
I use usb ps2 joystick as my controller
I added  the controller keys in  lilypad plugin successfully
the movement keys works in selection in game intro.
But it does not work in game unable to move 
Other keys like circle ,triangle,cross,square works with out problem
please help here

PCSX2 Crash dumps

I was wondering, since I have used PCSX2 1.5 development build-2561, Ive been having quite a bit of crashes (at least with Burnout Dominator anyway). I have been using Windows 10 17134.285 and have only an AMD FX 8350, R9 280X and 16GB of RAM. I've located the crash dumps, and I am just looking for info whether if the dumps could be useful and wanted to submit them, if possible, and where would I go about doing that. Thanks. Love the emu. Biggrin

Video and sound issues

Hi,
I just got PCSX2 and tried to play a DEMO, but some problems occured.

The first one is: 
I can't play video clips from this demo when the renderer is set to "Direct3D 10". The screen will just be black and sound is played in the background. Watching the videos works with renderer set to "Software", but it will cause bad FPS for other activities.

My second problem is: When starting the demo game "Klonoa 2," the screen freezes for a short time and then has bugged sound throughout the whole time while playing Klonoa 2.

I could also provide videos of my problems, if you need.

Are there any plugins to fix my problems?

setting up PCSX2 on Chromebook crouton and can't get past browse screen

I'm using the new Chromebook with crouton xenian xfce4 when I try I get the your system configuration screen with just a PS2 that I can't coppy or delete I've tried
-formatting in no disc mode
-getting a 32 bit version of xfce4
-using different bios
-different .iso files/ different games
-using trusty
-using e17
and they all don't work

Camera keeps spining help !!!

Hi does any one know how i can get this camera to stop spining as shown in the video link ?. It doesnt happen with shadow of the colosseus, nor on any games on steam so far. Just this game. Ive tried different sources of this iso, i am using a ps3 wired controller. It only stops when i hold the R2 button down.Ive been trying every search result on google and you tube to no avail. T.T

My KH Cheats aren't Working

The game works fine without the cheats but not when I'm running them it just crashes.

Final Fight Streetwise speed (or lack thereof)

I haven't posted this as a bug because I'm not sure that it is, but any feedback would be appreciated.

FWIW the game seems to run fine in hardware mode these days so this isn't a big deal, however, the wiki entry for this game states: "The game works fine at a good speed in software mode".

Not any more it seems. On my i5 3570K at 4.4GHz, which is a lot more powerful than the computer listed in the wiki entry, the game can't get more than about 45-50fps in software mode. The EE% is around 35%, GS% around 70%. CPU utilisation by PCSX2 is reported by Windows to be around 90%, so CPU load is obviously the cause of the limit, but my concern is whether this behaviour has changed over time.

Does anyone else experience the same thing? Could this be a bug, was the wiki entry wrong, or have changes to the renderer simply made the game more demanding over time?

EDIT: This is using a build of the current GIT version.

PCSX2 Intstantly Crashes while loading any ISO

It doesn't give me any errors or anything, as soon as the screen comes up that would eventually show the game, it just closes out of the whole emulator.

Specs:
 Windows 10 Home
 Intel® Core ™ i5- 7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz  3.00GHz
 RAM 8GB installed



PCSX2 Settings:

Audio plugin was changed to DirectSound.

Where to find hex codes?

I know enough to know the codes that actually work in pnach files for PCSX2 are in a hex format, which is supposed to be one of the formats Action Replay takes...  But I can't find any hex codes for the games I want online?  The ones I can find are in a XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format.

I been trying to play Gran Turismo 3 and it is slow as crap. Just wondering can my system even play this and if it can can anyone help me with the setup of PCSX2??

Browser/System info screen

So... I have been using pcsx2 1.5.0 for a while and even though I like the emulator, when I boot up the boot BIOS, I get nothing but the little dots going in a circle, the x and triangle icons... Nothing else. Is there something I did wrong for it not to show up? Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
