This is an old problem and a common one so apologies for yet another thread.

I am using DS4Windows and my pad is a 2017 DS4. I am playing Silent Hill 3 and the analogue controls have the wrong deadzones. What are some common settings to get it close to the PS2 bad?

None after the patch.

Fully Playable
Patch tested on PAL, but NTSC-U reported to work with it too.


Hi.
I'm using your patch and settings to play this game on build 1.5.0 dev 2242 with GSdx 20171228111123 (MSVC 19.00 SEE4.1/AVX) 1.1.0 [GSdx32-SSE4] at DX11HW but the CRC Hack Level doesn't do anything, the right glitch is consistent. 


CPU: i7-3930k [stock speed]
GPU: GTX 1070 

Any idea? Thanks!

Hello, my pcsx2 (1.5 builds 2242) stop function after a complete install of windows10 with full updates due to virus. The rest of the programs are running fine.

Hi recently decided to bring up my box of ps2 games and decided to play shadow the hedgehog using the emulator. I appear to have the text appearing above the text box, personally i don't think it's a bug it's a setting i might not have turned on also it is like this with the settings screen too, any help will be appreciated thanks Smile

PS2 Tech Demo

Tried running the 'find my own way' tech demo that came with the PS2 when bought in 2001. What is the reason it doesnt work on PCSX2, too slow pc's even a i7700/1080ti combo?
Runs perfect on the real PS2 but i would like to try this demo in a higher resolution, added filters etc. Thought the tech demo was quit impressive for its days.
Does it extensivly use both vu's? lots of multi-pass rendering?

[BUG REPORT] - General (PCSX2 1.4.0)

I play Justice League Heroes and Def Jam Fight For NY in my PCSX2. 

When i started using the emulator, it went full speed. Always between 90 and 101%.

But now it's just ridiculous. It's using 44% of my CPU and i have the NVIDIA GEFORCE 940MX, so it should be helping me, but the game speed now goes to 22 to 49% and it irritates me. I can't play this anymore.

My computer is the Acer Aspire

Intel Core i5
Nvidia Geforce 940MX
8 MB
1 TB

I can't understend why it's SO SLOW! Can anyone help me? I use the PCSX2 1.4.0!

Problems with ATI? XP + 4550

Hi!

My PC spects,   XP 32bits, C2D 1.8ghz, 2GB ram, and onboard Intel x3500


I use pcsx2 just for some games, like King of Fighters 94 rebout.  With the onboard intel x3500 and DirectX9 Hardware, i get almost fullspeed,  50-60fps,  works well


I tested a geforce 7300GT and a 8600GT and I get fullspeed 60fps with DirectX9 hardware. No problems, perfect


I tested two ATI cards,  4350 DDR2 and 4550 DDR3, both i get same results, 20-30fps, very slow in DX9 Hardware.  I tried OpenGl, but i just get a blank screen.


Both 4350 and 4550 are similar/faster to the nvidia 7300GT, little slower than 8600GT, but much faster than onboard intel..


I tested 1.4 and 1.5 devel, different GSdx plugins, no luck





I dont know what else to try, any ideas?   i need to use the ATI card, not nvidia or intel

EDIT:  Just for the records, there is not drivers problem, i have a norton ghost image, and before install intel/nvidia/ati drivers, i restore the image

So, there's this error message that keeps on popping up for me that keeps saying the GS plugin failed to open, assuming that my PC sucks so bad it can't run the emulator, I downloaded this emulator like 2 years ago on this same PC, ran smoothly and had few issues with it, now this happens when I install it again, what do I do? I tried every other plugin option there is on the screen it sends me to every time it fails to open the GS plugin, tried everything there, didn't work at all. My specs are Intel i7 6700, Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M. Before anyone asks, I tried updating my graphics card, didn't do jack chicken.

So i recently downloaded Digimon World 4, which i play with a buddy of mine, granted hes not very good at the game. I was searching around for an experience code, to boost his character a bit, so he isn't dying constantly. I found one and it doesn't work. I use it in a pnach file and i have converted it to raw, armax, codebreaker, and even changed the values and still to no avail. I was hoping someone could help me figure it out, or maybe even teach me how to get a code that doesn't work to work. Any help is appreciated.

So i started playing Digimon World 4 again, which i play with a buddy of mine, granted hes not very good at the game. Valkyrie Profile 2 - No leader item/bad drop rates

So the wiki article on Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria has the following to say:

So... I'm using 1.4.0 (maybe I should update) and I removed the pnach from the archive.  This instantly fixed the various menu crashes instantly.  However I'm only getting Leader Items (the result of a direct assault) once every 10 to 15 battles and drop rates for regular items are non-existent.  The only exception seems to be the first battle after I close and restart pcxs2 entirely, and load from an actual save.  Totally non-practical in the long run.

Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?  Everything else seems fine so far, but this is probably a deal breaker for me

First of all sorry is this is the wrong place to post and for my bad english

I have a problem with these great game
When I start the game the screen have some tipe of zoom in the game and that cut the screen and is imposible to read the text.

Anyone can help me?

Antes que nada perdón por postear esto aquí y a lo mejor no es el lugar correcto

Tengo un problema con este gran juego y es que cuando lo inicio hay una especie de zoom que me corta la parte inferior del juego y me hace imposible la lectura de los textos y es bastante frustrante a la hora de jugar porque no puedes leer ni enterarte de nada.

Alguien puede ayudarme?

The game runs without issue but I see a TON of "WTF GIFMFIFO" in the log. I was wondering what it meant.

I am using 1.4.1 stable (ish) Smile. I know its old but it plays all of my games and since I am having no issues, I am OK with it. I was just curious.

Issue with Xenosaga Episode I

So I've been trying to get Xenosaga Episode I to work with my PC and been having a slight issue. I'm having a problem with getting both the hair fix and black line in the GUI fix to be active at the same time. First thing I did was put Skipdraw=1 on to get rid of the puppet lines as Half Pixel offset doesn't do anything for the puppet lines on my rig. 

Then proceeded to fix the hair. Now when I set it TC Offset X=0 Y=1000 I get the hair fix but then the GUI issue pops up. I've set the Texture filtering to Bilinear (PS2) or Nearest like it says and it doesn't do anything. The black line still persists. But if I remove the hair fix it removes the GUI problems. This has been with D3D11 Hardware plugin w/ latest stable release also. Anyone know a good way to get both to work at the same time?

PC Specs: i5 4690k @4.2 Ghz, EVGA GTX 1070 SC, 8GB DDR3 Ram, Windows 10 64-bit Pro

Can't organize iso files?

Hi, I just downloaded this stuff so I could go re-live the PS2 God of War games, and it works perfectly. My problem is that I want to put my iso files into one folder (as I dont want my desktop cluttered with games, and then this pops up. https://gyazo.com/af75758a97fa3cf0a5722ebec9d24b44 As this is a common error with files I understand what it means (sort of, this started popping as soon as downloaded and I dont know how that is possible, I dont understand iso files I guess) but no clue how to fix as its not like a program cancellable via task manager. How do I stop slow motion in pcsx what configurations do i use 

My specs
gtx 1050
 amd athlon x4 870k quad core processer
16 gigs of ram


The games I'm trying to play are mgs3 dark cloud and shadow of the colloses and gta San Andreas if that matters
