NVIDIA GameStream no sound?

Hi,

My friend wants to watch me play some PS2 games through GameStream, so I downgraded my GSDx plugin to the one found in PCSX2 0.9.6 to be able to access exclusive full screen mode. Now, I'm able to share my video, but sound is not coming through to the other line.

I've tried changing modules between XAudio and DirectSound in SPU2-X as well as using the ZeroSPU plugin instead, but while I hear the sound on my end, it is not coming through on GameStream. All other games work fine though.

Could I get some advice on how to fix this?

Dirge of Cerberus half-screen problems

I did a search and downloaded the old plugins, checked if I had SDL.dll and all that but the old dll libraries that were posted way back just refuse to load. I read in a more recent thread that the development of the emulator moved on and all, so my question is, is there a way to run the game in hardware mode (software runs too slow for me) and not have that annoying graphical glitch?

THanks

Armored Core 3: FPS down to 10, what am I doing wrong?

$

Now, I'd like to open this with....I am not running a crappy computer. For that matter, I just upgraded it, and I can run pretty much everything at 60 fps, and 120 in some cases, if I feel like it. This is by no means a dud.

That said, I grabbed this game, and Darkcloud 2 some time back, maybe little over 6 months ago, and had this problem. Both games had pretty bad FPS, but with DC2 I could fiddle around with it and get it to run at insanely high FPS, which naturally made the game run faster. Not the case with AC3. I tried fiddling with it again on this computer, and I can't get above 10 FPS, which as you'd imagine is pretty bad considering the Process-Frame lock.

So, my question is, is there something about that game that just makes it unplayable, or are there ways to smooth it out so it runs fine?

Make a game not detect your gamepad?

Anyone ever heard of a way to make a game not detect your gamepad(meaning, the keys to not work when you press them)?
There are some games that have no way to configure the controller and those games are using DirectInput(if it was XInput, then it's easy but it's not).

PCSX2 hang on exit (Linux)...

Version : 1.3.1-20151205020727 (git)
------------------------------------------------

First I will give some details on how I compiled the latest version:

I compile using Fedora 23 (32bit) on a virtual machine.

Use the following compile options:

./build.sh --clean --release --gtk3 -DSDL2_API=FALSE

I run the application on Fedora 23 (64bit).

Everything works fine and I can load games as normal. The problem comes when I come to close the program. The window appears to hang on exit. If I look at the terminal output I get the following:

Code:
Decommitting host memory for virtual systems...
Releasing host memory maps for virtual systems...

It gets no further and I have to force close the application.

The last time I built PCSX2 was about 2 months ago and I had no troubles then.

Having an issue with SW2XL, on Musashi Miyamoto's second stage after selecting start i get a black loading screen that last indefinitely (or longer than 10 minutes anyway)

I've tried GSDX OGL in HW and Software mode, and with no speed hacks enabled.

I'm using the latest GIT as of this moment (Commit 601d182) system specs are in the sig.
I'll play some other characters and report back my findings. i didn't see anything in the console, let me know whatelse you might need.

This happens both on ISO and the physical disc.

Steam In-Home Streaming with PS3 Controller

Hi all,

I was wondering if it was possible to use the In-Home Streaming tool that steam provides with PCSX2. I have been able to get the game working, but for the life of me I have not been able to get the controller to work. I have XInput Wrapper successfully installed on both computers, and it works perfect. Now though, the PS3 controller plugged into the host controller acts as some sort of keyboard; the left analog stick moves the mouse and X simulates the enter key, but no other keys seem to do anything. As such, I'm unable to configure LilyPad to pick up the controller's action.
Everything else works fine; I've used In-Home Streaming to stream other games successfully with a mouse and keyboard, and I've used a ps3 controller to play games on each computer before. This is the only kink left in an otherwise perfect setup.

Thanks in advance!

# PCSX2 version:

PCSX2-v1.3.1-1525-g601d182
PCSX2-v1.3.1-1454-g91b2fd3
PCSX2 1.2.1 stable
PCSX2 1.0.0 stable

# CPU options:
Tested all without any effect on the bug effect

# Plugins used:
GSdx DX11 SW (whichever version came packaged with the build I mentioned), SPU2-X (whichever version came packaged with the build I mentioned, changed various settings to no avail), ZeroSPU 0.46

# Description:
Some sound go into an infinite loop, especially easy to reproduce in any mission that features jet fighters (let several in close proximity and start using a rapid fire gun and destroy one of them), not fixed by any settings nor manual game fixes, using ZeroSPU fixes it but introduces a 0.5-1 second delay on every sound, using the version of SPU2-X packaged with the 1.0.0 stable fixes the bug (tested a good dozen times and couldn't reproduce the bug with that version).

Champions of Norrath D-Pad Issues

Hi guys,

I'm new here so sorry if this wasn't posted in the correct area..

I am playing Champions of Norrath on PCSX2 1.3.1.

I have configured the controller and been playing for a while, but I just realized that I can't assign my spells (or swap between different ones) in game because when I go to use the D-pad to do so, it is configured to move my character, same as the left analog stick.  When I go into controller settings in PCSX2 and click on D-pad and try to configure, it changes how my left analog stick operates as well.

Can I not configure them separately?
Huge bummer if I can't use half my spells in game...

Thanks and let me know if you need more info!

PCSX2 bilinear?

Hi, grettings, sorry my english

I have a big interest in play 2D games in the emulator, but im having bad times to configure it

The graphics looks not clear, like they have a bilinear filter all the time. I have a CRT PC screen, and i can make perfect resolutions

Im running XP with DX9 plugin

For example, Hokuto no Ken game,  if i play in demul (atomiswave) and set my screen resolution to 640x480 or any integer resolution (1280x960 for example)  i get perfect, crisp, graphics

In psxc2,  i uncheck "filtering textures", set textures to 1x.... nothing, still too blurry.  I realize the game run in a resolution of 640x476, create this resolution, but still burry

If i set texture scaling to 2x, 3x or 4x, this help in getting crisp graphics at high resolutions (but still not perfect, just the bilinear is less strong),  but in original resolution not help at all

This problem happen with all 2D games i tested, even if i run the emulator in original resolution.  I tried software mode, but still blurry

Any ideas?  thanks a lot

EDIT:  I made two pictures, to help my words

1 - Hokuto no ken running in Demul, 640x480
[Image: test1.jpg]

2 - Hokuto no ken running in pcsx2, 640x476, no antialias in option, no filtering textures,  1x textures

very easy to see, the loss in resolution, because some kind of bilinear filtering

I'm playing GTA San Andreas right now on the latest pcsx2 revision and I have noticed that the traffic keeps moving faster and slower and don't stay at a constant speed.
I'm not sure how else to explain it.
same problem seems to appear in the 1.2.1 stable.

I haven't played the game on the PS2 in a while but I'm pretty sure this problem does not exist in the PC and Android version.

So for the past couple of hours, I have been trying to figure out why the .pnach file I made for Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix isn't working.  The console clearly shows that the file has been detected and the cheats have loaded, but they don't actually have any effect in-game.  This is what my console looks like from launch to the game's title screen:

As you can clearly see at the bottom, it found the .pnach file (that I put in C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.2.1\Cheats) and it loads the codes in the file.  However, when I'm actually playing the game, they aren't working and there are no error messages I can see that would suggest malfunction.  For example, my infinite bottle items code doesn't have any effect and the number of them starts to decrease when I use them.  I've attached my .pnach file to this post in hopes that someone can poke around and figure out what's wrong with it, and maybe even fix it for me.  Thank you in advance.
