Is i7-4770K (3.50GHz) somewhat inadequate for PCSX2?

I've been disappointed by performance in ~1080p with all games I've tried (God of War, GTA Liberty City Stories, Red Dead Revolver, Burnout 3 and Dominator). I've also tested the MTVU setting to some degree. The titles often drop below full speed and are more or less unplayable at times with off-sync game and audio speed.

I have the CPU paired with RTX 2070S and it seems that I could use an upgrade. I'd like to get a clarification if what I'm experienced can be expected.

My pc is one.:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
Asrock A320M-HD motherboard
8 GB Ram ddr4
Graphics: XfX Radeon RX 460 4gb

I am currently using version 1.7.0 of Pcsx2 but the error comes from my version 1.5.0

Configuration used
Bios .: USA v02.00 (06/14/2004) console
already used the china v01.90 (06/23/2003) console and the most current one I have here USA v02.30 (02/20/2008) Console
Tested plugins .: GSdx32-AVX2.dll [GSdx 20200609165733 (MSVC 19.21 AVX2 / AVX2) 1.2.0] / GSdx32-SSE4.dll [GSdx 20200609165733 (MSVC 19.21 SSE4.1 / AVX) 1.2.0]

SPU2 .: SPU2-X 20200609165733 2.0.0 [Spu2-x]

Directx 11 [hardware] and 9 [hardware] tested

In all cases I can play (graphics appear) but at certain times of the disk read error (ISO)
there are times that I can even get all the blue objects but when I finish I get the error reading the disk

I'm having trouble with graphics drivers from AMD not working correctly with the GS plugins, I get the following errors

Need help with MYMC

Hi! So I recently discovered the wondrous world of emulators and I started replaying all my childhood gems with my fiancee by my side. I had a problem with the computer I was using the emulator in and I lost my data. I roughly remember where I was in the different games, like stages and so, so I wanted to try and use a saved file from another person. The problem is that anytime I try to use that saved file in my MYMC, it acts like everything is okay, but when I close it it says "mymc-alpha-2.6\mymc-gui.exe: error: Incorrect number of arguments.

WARNING: mymcsup.dll failed to load."

Afterwards, I can load the game and the save data is non-present, but in the MYMC menu it shows the new saved files as included.
What can I do? 
Also, I am sorry if this isn't the correct forum place to post about it, I just thought this was the best place.

I'm able to connect my DS4 to my mac using bluetooth, but am unable to configure controller using OnePad plugin that is included with most recent mojave port of PCSX2.

How would one go about this?

 i come here because ISO cheat which i download (codebreaker v10, Armax3.34, gamshark) not working and not nonly that even after i converted them to raw and make .pnatch file + enable cheat on menu not working either. the game is working without the effect of the cheat. i'm using 3 PCSX2 1.6, 1.0, 0.9.8 hoping one of them would work but still not working. so maybe someone can help me here thank you.

no cheat working

hi i'm a new member in this forum.

i come here because ISO cheat which i download not working and not only that even after i converted them to raw and make .pnatch file + enable cheat on menu not working either. the game is working without the effect of the cheat. i'm using 3 PCSX2 1.6, 1.0, 0.9.8 hoping one of them would work but still not working. so maybe someone can help me here thank you.

Intel hd 620

Hi all! I've a laptop with Intel hd 620, i5-7200U CPU and 8gb ram. I've tried run two games, but no one run perfectly. The first, more simple, run quiet good, just have some slowdown sometimes, but the second is unplayable: fps are veeery slow quiet always. I'm using legacy libGSdx-legacy-1.0.0 because with the other three he situation is worse.

The question is, can i do anything to improve the performance or i can't play with an intel 620?

ISO File not found

I have the latest PCSX2 software and I believe I have configured it correctly.

Whenever I hit Boot CD/DVD (fast) it just says that the file could not be found even though the disk is in my CD drive and I can find the ISO file.

Any help is appreciated.

'Normal Installation' option is not avaliable for PCXS2 1.6.0

I've downloaded pcsx2-1.6.0-setup.exe and when I open it, the option to do Normal Installation grayed out for me, but Portable Installation is avaliable (this is the stable release version). Has anyone experienced this problem and how do I make it so it allows me to do Normal Installation?

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2002 distorted character models problem

Hello all, I'm having trouble in finding a solution to fix the distorted character models in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2002 [SLES-50728]. These models appear incomplete in Hardware mode and complete in Software mode of the OpenGL graphics plugin. Is there a way to fix them?

I included a log, the photo of the character model and a photo of my disc, as a proof that I dumped my own game.

Red Faction , flickering , version

Playing Red Faction on new 160 release (great job) dx11.
There is some flickering in upper left corner fairly often.
It is a somewhat small area.
It kind of looks like the background screen behind the gameplay.
Any fix for this? thank you

I have also noticed there is at least a few different versions of this game.
There is the 1.01 version dated 4/17-4/18/2001.
There is a 2.00 version with /data/ directory dated 6/7/2001.
On pcsx2 wiki there is reported 2.20 version.
And of course the greatest hits version... wonder what that is.

Wondering if anyone knows the differences between these versions, and which one is the final (greatest hits) version.

Apparently my version is the 2.00 and I've noticed some inconsistent triggering of the story dialogue, and many loot boxes seem unopenable, some very difficult parts and very few health packs to be found later in the game. It is fine because I like a challenge but I may have to start over from the beginning because I saved with low health... oop

So I am returning it and I am going to buy a refurbished cpu i have been finding cheap ones.

this has the processor with over 2000 in the processor speed thread and works for wwe 2k20

is this the best cheapest computer i can get or is there anything better people suggest? I was told to get a ryzen but not sure what the difference is if I can can just get this one instead it supports my game and would run the ps2 game smooth?
