Please my pc has an openGL version of 1.4 on intel atom 550 and when i run the development biuld, i couldnt find directx there on the GS Plugin and the two openGL options (hardware and software renderers) produces an error of "failed to init wglCreate contextAttribsarb function pointer" on the other hand, there is no directX renderer on the menu. But on the other stable versions, it continuously says "you need to update directX libraries" and I've done that severally. Please is there a solution? or I should forget PCSX2?

Turning OFF Top Bar Speed/FPS Counter?
Sorry if I missed this information in the beginner's guide, but is there a way to turn off the top bar FPS counter in window mode? For the way I'm using the emulator, the fluctuating number is distracting. Full screen removes this, but I'd like to stick with a window if I can disable it! Thanks for reading.

How do i edit the resolution lower than 256x256?
I have been wanting for some time now to challenge myself by setting the resolution lower that what is allowed by the "Custom" resolution option, however i have not found a way to do so. So i am asking the PCSX2 Forum for some help / suggestions. (don't ask why I want res that low, i just do, ok?

Klonoa 2 fire effects work now on at least 1 dev build!
I've been waiting years for this. The fire effects on Klonoa 2 now work on at least one specific build of pcsx2 so far!
pcsx2-v1.5.0-dev-3396-g3f6148709-803-vs2019-Win32-AppVeyor
https://t.co/PQVp66oyWf?amp=1
Many many many Thanks to turtleli and prafull for the fix!
Klonoa 2 NTSC works fine.
Klonoa 2 NYSC-J works fine
Klonoa 2 PAL works fine in 50hz mode. 60hz mode gives a black screen with this error though I think it is due to the IPU patch trying to use the 50hz address still.
I was also able to get Klonoa 2 NTSC to run through part Volkan Inferno without prafull's IPU patch which would normally be impossible. So I wonder if this build fixes that old volk/other areas involving fire hang and crash issues.
I cannot get manual EE/FPU advanced recompiler options to set on this build. But normally I would have rounding mode nearest of negative to fix out of place objects. Makes it hard to test areas without the patch because I need automatic game fixes on for the ee rounding mode settings to work.

Dualshock 4 R2/L2 as analog for GT4
Is it not possible? It's doing my head in. I've been trying to use the right stick up/down as R2/L2 but it just will NOT work as an analog. It's either on or off. I know it can work for the Dualshock 3 (friends told me this)

Issue with the Burnout games when switching to HW mode
So I'm on version v1.5.0-dev-3399-g8d3ff9444, and when playing the Burnout games (Dominator, Takedown, and Revenge) the games work completely fine with no issues in HW mode. But there is still the black sky bug which you can fix by going to SW mode before loading a race then switching back to HW mode once the race has loaded. The problem with this is that it fixes the sky, but creates another issue which is a line going across the screen a certain distance from where I am looking. (This line doesn't appear at all when I stay in HW mode, only when I go to SW then back to HW).
I've tried using the latest stable release 1.4.0 and it fixes this line problem, but I get the purple windows issue, which doesn't occur on the dev build I use...
In the screenshots you can see the big line going across the screen on the surfaces in game.
Emulation settings are all default apart from preset unchecked at the bottom, MTVU enabled, and 16:9.

Config wizard crash
Hi all
I ran PCSX2 earlier, but managed somehow to break it when trying to get a wheel to work.
So I reinstalled it. When I run the program I enter the config wizard. After the first window I
get a popup about importing or overwriting settings. I select overwrite and go to the second
screen, with the plugin config options. If I choose to leave it as is and press next PCSX2
crashes generating emuLog1 (attached).
If I instead try to open configuration for LilyPad, I get another crash, see emuLog2. The other
plugin configuration windows turn up as expected.
(Don¨t know if this is important: I have to remove padPokopom.dll from the plugin-dir. Otherwise
Enumerating available plugins does not complete. It gets stuck.)
Help would be appreciated!
I remember seeing somewhere what data you want from me, but I can't seem to find it again.
My apologies if I've left something out.

Direct 3D 11 HW in Onimusha Warlords
I don't know if this is in any other game that works like Onimusha Warlords or anything, but for some reason, while the latest Dev release as of the time of this posting, 8d3ff94, does fix the annoyance of 3D models and other objects that are supposed to be hidden behind layers in the pre-rendered backgrounds instead being layered above, it instead has a much worse problem with the same video setting; and appears not to even run as well on the same setting as the stable release. It even takes forever just to go from the main menu to the game even when loading a saved game.
The worst problem, however, that I mentioned before, is that when I go from one room to another on Hardware on the dev release, the video goes black on the emulator. Thankfully not the entire screen because I don't play in full screen. The action still plays out like normal, so if enemies are in the area, Samanosuke can still get hurt or killed, but even if I pause or go to the inventory, I can't see a thing until I switch to software and back; in which case, it happens once again when I leave that room in the game.
And overall, I know this is not my computer's fault; I just now tested before posting this, and the latest stable release does work absolutely fine in hardware mode, just with the aforementioned model and background bug.

Memory Cards not working
I am playing Xenosaga and every time I try to save game at a save point it bring me to browser boot menu with the game disc and memory cards and kicks me out of the game. I have to either start over or use a save state to continue. I know it says not to use save states but the game will not work otherwise. I have tried reformating memory cards in game, i have tried reformatting ithout an ISO loaded as well, nothing works.
I have already started a game using save states only, will that cause me problems down the line?

Gran Turismo 4 (GT4) license test crash
Game crashed when I was trying to start ib license test 5.
I tried some fixes about license crash but didn't solve the problem.
I can play and finish the other tests in ib, just not Test 5.
The game seems to be just fine as I can play other races, buy cars etc. but just not with Test 5 in ib license test.
I tested in both PCSX2 1.4.0 and the latest Git version (v1.5.0-dev-3399-g8d3ff9444) but seems like both of them can't get through Test 5.
Here's the emulog:
My spec:
Win10 64bits

GTX 1060 6GB
16 GB ram
I believe my rig is more than enough to run the game so perhaps the problem is the settings?

I believe my rig is more than enough to run the game so perhaps the problem is the settings?
My settings:

I also turned off Automatic GameFixes and no luck.
Note: The GT4 I am running is the Traditional Chinese version (SCAJ-30007)

No video or audio
I've been using PCSX2 for several years, but I recently upgraded my computer and the program no longer works.
When I launched a game that I've emulated before from the original disc, I get a black screen with no video or sound.
My system:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six Core Processor 3.4 GHz
8GB RAM
Windows 10 Home 64 bit
Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
I'm using the default SPU2-X audio driver and the GSDX graphics driver with the AVX2
I confirmed that my processor supports AVX2, but the same issue occurred with SSE3, which my processor should also support.
I've tried running in both hardware and software mode, no difference.
I also upgraded my graphics driver and confirmed that my DirectX is up to date.
Any other thoughts? It would be nice to get this working again. I miss some of my games.

Rogue Galaxy: Help reducing "thickness" of character outline shadows/comic borders?
Hey all, just a quick thing really. The game is pretty much running perfectly and looking great in OpenGL Hardware mode currently, however, the one slight grievance i'm having is that the outline, or the "comic border" or character outline shadow whatever you want to call it seems to remain quite thick and pronounced and I can't find a way to reduce it. Looking at the first main PCSX2 videos that appear on google/YouTube display the game much clearer and this effect significantly lower.
Pictures here contain Gsdx settings, PCSX2 version (which is: 1.5.0-dev-3387-g420f642f6) (is there a newer version out?) and 3 examples of issue: https://imgur.com/a/KxdpkRQ
As for emulation settings/version it's the "preset 3: Balanced" version and version of the game is USA.
Any help would be appreciated, general specs are I5-6500 3.2ghz, 16gb RAM, GTX 1070, All 860 evo SSDs. Like i said no performance issues, just visual.

The Godfather Red line error followed by slow speed
Hello! I have just downloaded the pcsx2 and have the godfather game. When I run the game I see red bars across the screen and when I try to resolve it by reading other peoples post, it doesnt work or arises the problem of speed or lights in the game being seen through a wall. I would really appreciate if someone would look at my setup through anydesk or any other screen mirroring platform.
