Input Lag/Delay On Controller? (Any Fixes?)

Hello there,
I have been experiencing controller input lag on all the games I have tried to play (mostly first person shooters) where there is considerable delay when moving the analog sticks on my controller.  I have tried on a Xbox One Elite Controller (Wired) and an Xbox 360 Wired Controller with same issue.  Testing this I moved the analog stick quickly to the right and left and noticed a very noticeable delay in anything happening on the screen.  

This is making it unplayable for me for things like aiming down sights, getting an accurate shot on someone, etc.  Vsync is disabled and the games are all running at full speeds, curious if anybody has had this issue or knows a fix.

Help setting up Oculus touch with Nuvee!

I understand this is a very specific request but I was wondering if anyone else has gotten this working or can help to get it working? My main goal is to use the Oculus touch controls for the Guncon 2 offerings on ps2 through a program called Virtual Desktop. I have managed to get other emulators working with it and it works great. When I try to set it up with Nuvee however it just does not work. Nuvee recognizes the touch controller as mouse and lets me set it up but once in game I am unable to calibrate it. I can even see the light gun flashes when pressing the trigger button on the menu screen but it doesn't do anything. Using a mouse thought it Works perfectly fine. I also noticed that when the touch mouse is active the main mouse drifts off into the lower right corner of the emulation window. Any help or suggestions for this would be great. Thank you.

Hello, I have recently installed PCSX2 1.4.0. I tried to start Max Payne's ISO but the emulator gives me an error message that says -

The file could not be created. path C Program Files etc.
Why? I'm starting out using this emulator ...

Games do not appear in memory card?

Newbie trying to figure this out...

I've tried several games and several different bios' to confirm but every time I load up. Ii come to the "browse" or "config" options. I choose browse. I can see my memory cards, they are formatted properly. I even created an additional 32G to test. 

What am i doing wrong lol? not able to load anything other than this screen...

Speed dropping after intro of games then freezing

Hi guys

Have a 2018 Macbook pro

Have set up the whole PCSX2 download a few ISO's, however...

I can boot the game up perfect, for example GTA SA. All intro works, intro trailer but then as soon as i actually start to interact and play with the game my speed just plummets from 100%?

Same with need for speed underground, as soon as i start to navigate through the menu, speed drops to like 15/20%

Any ideas?

Final fantasy 10 bug after sending scene, stuck in the inn.

Hey all. Seen some posts on people getting a black screen in ff10 after the "sending" scene but can't find anywhere the bug I'm dealing with.
After the sending scene it fades to black, music is playing, tidus is snoring and all that. The picture comes back to inside the inn but tidus isn't walking down the stairs. Music is playing and I just constantly hear footsteps/hammering. Can't figure out a way to get around this. Anyone else ever had this happen? Any thoughts on getting around this?

Speed stuck at 50% during gameplay

Hi everyone,

I've just started using PCSX2 and I'm experiencing a strange issue. I've tried two different games (Burnout 3: Takedown and SSX On Tour) and, while they run rather smoothly in the menu and while loading, the speed decreases to 50% when the actual gameplay starts.
I've tried quite every solution I was able to come up with, I've also tried to use this thread, but I'm quite stuck with this problem.

Emulator: PCSX2 1.4.0
Graphics: GSdx 20160105132032 (MSVC 19.00, AVX) 1.0.0 [gsdx32-avx]

PC:

high powered computer has serious lag on all plugins

So I have a Lenovo P51 with an Intel i7-7700HQ and an NVidia Quadra M1200. However, when I play Gran Turismo 4, I get a pretty bad lag whichever graphics plugin I use, and ditto for GTA: Vice City Stories. I've set the default graphics for this app to be the Nvidia, to no avail.

My computer can do Grand Theft Auto 4 pretty decently, as well as Wii/GC, and consoles before. How can I get my laptop to run PS2 games acceptably on PCSX2?

Ace Combat Zero Collision Issues

I installed the latest version of the PCSX2 emulator (Dev Build v1.5.0-dev-3179-ga36d5a022), and Ace Combat Zero starts up and runs just fine. However, when I actually enter the first mission, there appears to be some sort of collision issue where the bombers are unable to be killed at all. Any missiles or gunfire harmlessly pass through the aircraft. My own aircraft is unable to take damage of any sort, and I can clip through the ground without crashing. I am unsure of a fix for this, considering people prior who have had the same problem got it solved through an update of a very old version. I also tried initializing the game through fast boot as described on the wiki, but that did not solve any issues either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Resident Evil Outbreak games "Lone Wolf" cheat/unlock

I never played through Outbreak games because of the AI NPCs roaming around all the time and making everything so annoying for me and hectic, I know it is great experience with online play etc but I play my RE games solo. I know there is Lone Wolf mode where you play alone and you have to play through the game on some difficulty to open it I think?
But I want to play and experience the game first time with that mode.

So is there any way to cheat and unlock it straight away, or I can get some PCSX2 save file with it unlocked so I can start with it?

This question goes for second game too ofc.

I would really appreciate the solution for this, cheers!

[Release] SSAO and raytracing support in PCSX2

This is a dirty hack of Reshade made to help getting access to depth buffer in games emulated by Pcsx2 emulator which is otherwise hard and really quirky.
The emulator does expose a depth buffer (not always but often), sometimes filled with the wrong data... but sometimes actually decent to use.

Do note that it's of course also compatible with latest MartyMcFly's RT shader
Everything works fine while staying in debug view (as shown above) but there's one annoying issue to prevent it from being perfect :
it has a 3, 4 frames delay between the SSAO buffer and the color buffer.

It *is* fixable, GlideN64 developper Gonetz did it :

To sum it up, to fix the delay issue (as shown above) Pcsx2 needs some code modification in order to :
- Render depth into "window buffer" ("fbo 0")
- (possibly, Gonetz had to do it) Save depth  snapshot for each color buffer

Hey folks,

need some help here with my .pnach.

So I just followed all the steps, which are explained in this thread here → https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-A-simpli...or-dummies

I used the codes listed on the code breaker website: http://www.codetwink.com/view-cheats-440...agent.html

I opened omniconvert (Input = CodeBreaker > Version 7+) (Output = Unencrypted > Standard)

The first code was the "MASTER"-or the... Enable Code:

ubuntu 19.04 only 1 core sitting at 100%?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if this is as intended, currently when running emulations on my rig only has 1 core fires up and its sitting at 100%.
from reading around it suggest that emulator should be using 2 cores in game?
is this something I can manually configure or are there drivers I need to install?

Importing raw Save Folders into PCSX2 memory card

Hello!
I have raw copy of memcard which was done back in 2006 by simple copying with file manager into PS2 HDD and later to PC.
It looks like bunch of folders:
BASCUS-97471
BASCUS-97472nico
BASLUS-20216
BASLUS-20246SYS
...
Is there any way how can I import them into PCSX2 memory card?
I have tried to create new card in Folder (Experimental format). I formatted it and later coped folders there but only System Configuration is visible. There is no single game.

DualShock 3 not detected by PCSX2 / Lilypad

Hi,

I have original DS3 controller, SCP driver package (correctly identifies DS3), SCP modification to pcsx2, lilypad SVN selected.

I can see DS3 controller under settings (ds3 native mode), but none of my button presses are being registered.

When I test big/small motors they both spin, which means the controller is connected and lilypad can issue test commands to the motors.

But seemingly the controller input is not working?

Any idea what's wrong?
