Can't run any game or FMV cutscenes with Software mode

$

Hello there, this issue has been annoying me for a good chunk of time. As mentioned in the title, I can't play FMV cutscenes in software mode or use Software mode in game, menus sometimes lag when I use that mode. It doesn't matter if I use OpenGl, or any DirectX and I swear that I didn't have a problem like this before. It makes the emulator go from 60FPS speed to 30 or 20.
PC Specs:
Nvidia Geforce 1060 6GB VRAM
16 GB RAM
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
CPU AMD FX™-8350 Eight-Core processor 4.00GHz

I use pcsx2-v1.5.0-dev-2267.

I tested the PSX bios on both 1.4 and d25ef6 (current latest version of 1.5) and on both it stays on a black screen for a second or two and then the emulator crashes (including the debug console window). Is there any way to fix this?

I am pretty sure you have already had some folks posting this kind of problem, but there is no solution
as mentioned by the poster.

Spongebob Movie Game Freezes

$

Hello! I'm trying to play the Spongebob Movie Videogame on ISO, but whenever I use the bash move, defeat certain enemies, or use a Nitro when driving, the game freezes for a couple seconds. The freeze is only visual though, and I can still move around and pause, but the screen stays on the same image. Any ideas as to why this happens/how to fix it?

I'm running PCSX2 version 1.3.0 on Windows XP , with 4 GB of memory. My CPU is a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5, and my graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB.

I've also got alpha correction turned off, as that seems to help with lag, and I think that's all I messed with.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal - Vid Comic Boss Glitch

Hey there everyone
was recently streaming all the Ratchet & Clank games and they were doing pretty well after I began to use dev build 1.5.0

Ratchet & Clank 3 though has become unplayable though because of a boss not spawning in a mini level. I have tried it in different rendering modes and I wasn't able to work the European version because it would just look like garbage textures.

Was wonder what you guys would need to look at and if you could explain a bit why it won't work. It's just very strange since the other two were absolutely alright and so was the third for the majority of the beginning game.

(Below are two screenshots. The top image is a halfway point where the boss is suppose to spawn temporarily. The bottom is the boss area, but he never comes in.)

So im back, and now i have obtained the image myself on a Ubuntu System using

And i can confirm that it does run, just everything is laggy

Persona 4 - Characters moving slow

Hello, I've started playing Persona 4 on PCSX2 and I noticed that my main character was walking really slow but I thought he was just walking.
I've now reached the first dungeon and my two characters have normal running animations but the movement speed is still really slow (I compared with some other playthrough on youtube so I know it's not normal).
Does anyone have an idea about how to fix this ?

TimeSplitters 2 Demo Graphical Problem

Hi,

I've been playing some PAL and NTSC PS2 demo discs recently which feature demos of TimeSplitters 2. When running the demos in hardware mode I get graphical errors like the one in the image below, this appears when using Hardware Direct3D11 and Direct3D9. When using OpenGL Hardware I get a different problem where I get 4 to 6 different versions of the same image laid out in a sort of transparent grid form. Using software mode for Direct3D and OpenGL fix the problems but makes gameplay sluggish and recording footage impossible. Other users have been able to run these demo discs in hardware mode with no graphical issues, what is the fix for this?

• Retail release of TimeSplitters 1, TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters 3 run fine on Hardware mode on my PC.

• Same demo versions of the game run fine on other peoples machines under Hardware mode.

• I have tried changing every setting I can find for Direct3D and OpenGL under Hardware but still get the same graphical problems.

• Same results on PCSX 1.2.1, PCSX 1.4.0 and PCSX 1.5.0.

• I have run the disc as an ISO and a mounted ISO in Alcohol 120%

My computers specs are:

I just started playing Radiata Stories and after the first batch of cutscenes where you're eventually put outside of the town, the game freezes at the start of battle due to a CDVD Read Error. How can I fix this?

Baulders Gate

Hey all I am very new to this emulation thing. Every time I try to play Dark Alliance Baulders gate it seems to constantly run in slow motion, it starts of at 100% speeds and slowly goes down to 1% speed. The talking and cut scenes in the game were fine and worked perfectly. I've literally tried every setting I found online for optimising - can anyone help me please?

Is PCSX2 Software mode more accurate than PS3 emulating PS2?

Aside from PS3 rendering some PS2 games at lower FPS, visual accuracy in OPEN GL seems way more accurate to me?
