Phantasy Star Generation 2 fan translation!!!


Multiplier wont go higher than 39X on a unlocked processor.

Hi guys, i have this computer:

i7 3770K 
GTX 670 Power Edition
8GB 2x4 1333
P67A-UD4-B3
I just upgraded from an i5 2400 to i7 3770K and i was ready to overclock my new unlocked processor, but for some reason, my multiplier os locked at 39X even tho im using a unlocked processor.

Please.make sure that all dlls pcsx2 should use are 32-bit! IIRC in 64-bit windows you find 32-bit dlls in the syswow folder not in system32. All dependendent files can either be in the path environment variable locations or in the pcsx2 root directory.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance - Random FPS drops

Hello,

I am pretty new to the pcsx2 world. And i am trying to play Dark Alliance but the fps drops at certain points, especially in the tavern (at the beginning). To avoid the half screen bug i am running it in software mode.
My question is there any fix for this already? I have been looking at youtube videos, forums etc. but i couldn't fix it.

is there any fix for this?  Blush

Anyone with a faster cpu than mine can test this game?

My config: i7 3770k 4.5ghz
GTX 670
Game: Midnight club 3
This is my 3rd upgrade and i still can't get solid 60fps which is CRUCIAL for a racing game like this.. i wonder if this game is actually possible to get 60 solid fps so i challenge you guys with a better cpu to actually test the game and tell me your results, because if you guys can actually play the game at fullspeed i'll upgrade again.

hi i got 2 problems
1 the game is stuck at 100% loading after character creation
2 after chancing 1 thing in character creation the second make it freeze
  (only appperance not the thingy about how active/clean etc u are)
sooo what do i need to do? ( reduced a lot of interrupt bit is set)

Too fast bios splash screen.

Hi,

I've been browsing the forum a bit and can't find anything about the subject. 
I've managed to add the splash screen with "--fullboot" but it runs by too fast. It's like it's sped up some how. How ever, the games run at normal speed.

Is there an option that I've missed fpr slowing it down? I'm guessing it's fast by default since most people can't be bothered with this type of thing, but I kind of like having the splash screen! ...makws it feel more genuine! ;-)

Newbie here, just trying to get things set up, and I'm having issues getting the OnePad plugin to work with xboxdrv, and I can't find downloads for other pad plugins for linux.

I'm obviously missing something *very* basic here, but I can't seem to find any info to help.

Hey, I felt like playing Harvest Moon AWL SE but I don't have my ps2 since long time ago and fortunately I found the disc among some old stuff. Problem is the fps I get are around 30-35. I'm posting my specs (I read the topic "Will PCSX2 run fast on my computer":

CPU: AMD ATHLON X2 Black Edition
GPU: Radeon HD 7770 Series 1GB GDDR5
RAM: 4GB DDR2
OS: Windows 7 64

gran turismo 3 and 4 issues converting replays with mymc

Just a shot in the dark here. maybe there's a solution somebody knows about.

So I converted some of my gran turismo 3 and 4 replays that I had backed up on my computer in .psu format. Used mymc. imported them to my pcsx2 memcard. easy as can be.

Well the gamedata files work. I have all my old cars and trophies and money and whatnot. But the replay files do not work.

On gran turismo 3 a replay will load. the car will make it maybe a couple turns and then crash itself into a wall...
gran turismo 4 just says error file corrupted and doesnt load the replays.

any solutions appreciated. just wanted to enjoy some of my old drifting from 10 years ago.

Attached is a bunch of my own replay files in .psu format copied to usb using ulaunchelf.  if anybody wants to try to make it work on the emulator. some for gt3 and some for gt4. feel free to verify them on an actual ps2 first if you're handy with ulaunchelf as im sure a lot of you are.

hey wait a minute. maybe i could use ulaunchelf on pscx2 and browse and import them that way? Im sure there's some reason that wont work though...

Hello everyone,

So, as some might know I work on evdev version of onepad.
However, I have a few questions and remarks:
1) Evdev can handle keyboard, should I handle keyboard with it then? The rational to do that would be to remove x11 dependence. Which lead to sub question, are there any other usages of x11?
2) I guess some of you might have understood that pretty much everything there is getting redone(GUI is fully redone, evdev will replace SDL and maybe even x11/ whole keyboard.* stuff and I could not avoid myself to cppfy even more btw, sorry, I am like a junkie). Wouldn't it be coherent to start fresh with a new name(and put copyright to "PCSX2 Team" instead of individual contributors)? If so, what would be your idea of a name? Wink

3) About ETA, my modifications are conflicting with a few bits and pieces of the GUI collaterals, so I will merge/prepare for merge only after it is mainlined, however, I move forward as I refactor my little class at the same time. I would guess that the time I make a usable implem + unit testing + wider tests myself, the first test build will be early next week(unless problems). Then shoe knows what he has to do ;Wink Once that is done merge will go on etc...
4) At the same time, should I make SDL optional in SPU2-X? Even if I don't link to libpulse directly, this would allow to finally have Ctrl-c to work, it would be nice right? ;Wink Besides, it could solve sound bugs for some who have them since pulse can emulate ALSA anyway.

Trying to run the latest version of PCSX2 (git version) and upon attempting to install it on an i5-4590 PC with Intel HD graphics I get a "You need to update your directX libraries would you like to do that now?" If I click no I get a "failed to load plugin" error. If I click yes it redirects me to a windows 10 upgrade page. Any ideas on why it's doing this or why it redirects me to a windows 10 upgrade page instead of a direct X library?

When I try to run MGS3 on windows 10 I get about 13-19 fps any advice on how to boost that to at least 50? Some additional information the lowest FPS happens during cut scenes with an average Frame rate of about 14 but during game play it jumps up to 20 fps. How can i fix this issue?

i tried to use 4 ps4 controlers in lilypad but it seems to work with 2 only
any one has a solution because i've been looking for days and trying but only PAD 1 and 2 works
also tried port 1and2 multitap but still only PADA1 and PADB1 only works

So I have been using 1.2.1 for a while now and found on PCSX2's youtube they are running 1.3.0.. However, when I went off to the downloads pages I can only find 1.2.1. When I googled the version I got a bunch of things asking me to download their repack of PCSX2 so instead of doing that I just came to the forum. So to recap 1.2.1 is to glitchy for my tastes so how do I get to 1.3.0?
