Hello everyone,

I'm trying to use cheats with pcsx2 1.4.0 and I know I have to download omniconvert 1.0.3 which I did. However, the Omniconvert file wouldn't even open. At first I thought the issue was that it wasn't in .exe format, so I changed the format to .exe but my computer says that the file cannot run on my PC (I'm running windows 10). Has anyone encountered this issue when trying to run cheats on pcsx2? Thanks.

Hello, I'm currently having issue with my PCSX2 with X360 controller. When I press "Start" button on my X360 controller PCSX2 closing all the plugin just like how you press escape on keyboard. and the "Select" button become Turbo mode toggle.


Does anyone can help me on this issue?

I have installed and completed the set-up, when I run the iso I get a blank screen but audio is coming in I have PCSX2 installed C:/games

Do I need to burn the iso to a disk or USB?

Has anyone made any progress with getting Primal to work in hardware mode? the game is fully rendering behind that black screen, which can be seen when pause buffering the game.

Some cinematics even visibly render on their own at full speed. It actually seems any cinematic that pans away from Jen and Scree will render. I've taken some screenshots, and I have a strange feeling the problem is in those weird textures that render below the characters. Sounds very unlikely, but if only there was a way to disable them just to test this theory.

I caught an interesting bug between playing online with pcsx2 + streaming live to Twitch. 

If OBS (stream software) is close and I am NOT live, I can connect instantly to online servers. (playing MidnightClub3DubRemix in this case)

If OBS is open and I am NOT live, I can connect instantly to online servers. 

BUT If OBS is open and I am LIVE, I can NOT connect at all to servers. Gives me error codes or thinks the system's either netcable is unplugged. 


Running PCSx2 1.5 with Gigherz DEV9 4.0 (only one that wouldn't crash my PCSx2)

My system specs:
CPU: Intel i7 4790 @ 4Ghz 
RAM: 16gb ddr3 @ 666Mhz 
MotherBoard: Msi Z97A gaming 6 
GPU: GTX 970

Internet Speed:
Ping: 6
Download: 84
Upload: 91

Anyone know of any quick fixes or work arounds? Would like to bring some life to an older game. Plans on playing live with viewers, friends n followers

I considered buying another PCI network adapter thinking there is some conflict between OBS and PCSx2 sharing the same one. But I also feel there has to be a different solution, considering I can still use my normal net while online in PCSx2

I'm looking to increase some character's Sphere Levels, but the codes provided to me by Roundaround's thread aren't working, and I can't find any for the NTSC version that work. Does anyone know of other codes like the one below that do work? I don't mean Sphere Level 50, I mean just like the code:

I setup an original xbox controller to PCSx2, registers all inputs in the config window, drivers are install etc. 

But when I go load up a game the controller isn't working / taking control. Any help would be appreciated!

Good morning, I installed PCSX2 1.4.0 on my [Intel Core i3 2100 - 3.10 GHz] computer which has [4GB RAM] and [DOES not have dedicated video card], the emulator works perfectly.

Then I installed on my Dell Vostro 3550 [Intel Core i7 2675 - 2.80 GHz] notebook that has [6gb RAM] and video card [Amd radeon 6600m and 6700m series = 1gb] and with the same settings as the other computer the emulator does not work right , I believe that this notebook is better than my computer and so I can not understand why the emulator is only locking in the notebook.

Note: Both are with the Windows 8.1 64-bit operating system [upgraded].

Fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04. Had this problem for 2 days, tried everything suggested on Google.
I'm a newbie in Linux, so if you need me to check something, please give me the code to do it.

 Full error: GS Plugin failed to open. Your computer may have insufficient resources, or incompatible hardware/driver.


Tried PCSX2 1.4 and 1.5
Specifications: (Lenovo Legion Y520)
16 GB RAM
7th generation i7-7700hq
Nividia  GTX 1050ti
I tried everything. Can't seem to boot. I tried different nvidia drivers, same thing. Anyone can help with this? Maybe recommend a driver or another plugin that will work? Thank you.

Hey everyone. This is my first post. I've been happily enjoying the emulator. Playing games from my old library like Jak X: combat racing, flat out 2, burnout 3, etc. I've even gone to pawn shops and picked up games I was never able to play as a kid. Well at this point I'm at the end of my rope a bit and have been seeking outside help.


Flat out 2 and Jak X have been hanging at specific points and will occasionally hang at others randomly. Flat Out 2 will hang on the loading screen for the race after about 2 or 3 events consistently. Jack X: CR will hang after the character stops talking before you start the loading of the race and will sometimes freeze mid race. The audio will still play for Jak X:CR but the game wont respond at all. Ill try to get screen caps to show you. I'm using discs For these games. Other than these issues, The games run well. They give great frame rate and don't stutter at all. In fact, they run better on the emulator than on the console in terms of speed. I appreciate all the help and discussion you guys give.

Recently I've been playing God of War. When i first started playing i got to a save point in the game. And every time i would try to load that save it would freeze every time trying to load it. I did some trouble shooting and couldn't find what i was looking for. At that point I decided that this whole emulator thing was too much work and I uninstalled it and never thought of it again. I downloaded pcsx2 again to see if I could have any luck, and I didnt. The only thing different this time is that it wasn't freezing while loading, it was that the game never stopped loading. No matter how long I wait the game doesn't seem as if it wants to load. I went ahead and checked the logs to see if I could find anything out. That's when I remembered I didn't know how to read debugging logs. So i saved the log and the most common thing I found in it was this

Read Time Out 15000(msec)
  280063:ERROR(1): PAND00B.WAD:3943047:     16


If any of you guys can help me find out what this means and how i can fix it that would be great.

Hello everyone. I am currently playing the game MS SAGA: A NEW DAWN. As I complete 50% of the game, the game starts to freeze during battles or the screen freezes. I am completely unaware of the terminologies that you people use. I will be extremely grateful if you could help me out.
My laptop specs are

.)intel core i5- 6200 cpu 2.30 ghz

Hi, i just watch this video from digital foundry about SSX 3 and how the game is emulate on XboxoneX and it s a lock 60fps everywhere. Here is the video for reference:

So it got me thinking about PCSX2 emulation witch is accurate, but can we speed it up.

My question is, is it possible to run the game better with PCSX2 with a internal lock 60 fps. Has it already been done? What settings could potentially speed the internal speed of the game?

I try EE Cyclerate at 3 and while it is a noticeable upgrade in ingame FPS i feel it s not a lock 60 fps.

Hey,

I'm completely fresh to emulation so i'm not quite sure how to solve problems yet. My computer has i7-4710HQ 2.5GHz, nvidia geforce gtx 860m, 8Gb ram and it's windows 10. Emulator version is 1.4.0. 

When i was kid i used to play ratchet and clank and since i am trying out emulation, i figured i might try to play those games. So i have first four games of ratchet and clank in format of iso and tried playing them. But the thing is while i play, the fps sometimes drops and the game becomes slow motion, then suddenly fps jumps up and the games speed is becomes higher then i should be. 

The emulator is set on the preset 1, i tried preset 2 also, but nothing changes. Also, the MTVU is checked too.

So maybe you have any recommendations on what should i do to make the games work propperly?
