Shadow Hearts Half/Black Screen

So while playing Shadow Hearts 2, any time I get into a battle and one of my characters has to use the ring indicator I either have half a screen with the indicator or no screen with the indicator. It is not game breaking as i can still see and use the indicator, but it is irritating and I would like to fix it if I could. I also notice that FMVs flicker like crazy, again not game breaking but if I was epileptic I would die Tongue

I tried both hardware DX11 and OGL, messed around with the blending unit in OGL, no difference no matter what I did.

i have tried playing Sly 3 with a DS4 controller but can't seem to figure out how to set it up.

If you could give me a step by step guide as to how i can get it working it would be nice, but any help is appreciated.

I don't want to burn my disc but I'm not sure how to run a game from a disc. I'm trying to play persona 4 and everything I find online is unhelpful. please help me??

I need to stress test it how many commands can it take at once etc.

when i wanted to run 60 fps patch for need for speed hot pursuit 2 i received very weird spammed cycl error with weird numbers on console. the game didnt run, black screen. could someone share with me correct 60 fps file? i made my own one but didnt work please help me Sad

Ipega 9028 as controller on pcsx2 not working

Hi! Just want to ask how do you get ipega bluetooth controller to work on PCSX2? I'm using lilypad. The controller's listed as "DX GamePad" under Device Diagnostics section and when I "Test Device", it seems to be working. Although when I try to map keys using the controller, nothing happens.

Is this a device compatibility or a configuration problem? Hope someone can enlighten me!

Newb here, trying to configure for Xenosaga series

Howdy,
Hope this is the right place for this but recently upgraded my machine and hoping to play some old faves.

Relevant stuff:
PCXS 1.4.0
Win 10 Home 8GB RAM

GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 
Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (Kaby Lake)
PRIME Z270-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Monitor - Dell S2716DG


I've read through the configuration guide but became pretty confused as the instructions for graphics settings seemed to refer to an older version. 
The drop down box lets me choose between SSE4, AVX and AVX2.  Which one should I use?  Some of the YouTube videos I've found show it playing
at 1080p 60FPS and looking fabulous but it looks awful when I try those settings.  And what do they mean by Native resolution?  Is that the one my 
computer is set at or the one the game was made at?  Do some settings need to be made in NVidia control panel for that specific application or game?
I've also read and understand a little about .pnatch file hacks but not how/when to use them.  I'm completely lost with so many possibilities... not a 
complaint btw I understand why it needs be so deep and complex but I definitely feel like a pig in the wilderness here.  I've pretty much been trying 
different settings every which way.  Any help would be appreciated.

Lilypad same button input

I want to config a button for an action that require two button pushed in PS2 at one button pressed at the keyboard so I don't have to press both button. Can I do this with Lilypad? Sorry for my bad English. I am using PCSX2 v1.4.0 and Lilypad 0.11.0

Hello, every game I try to run works at 60fps about 90% of the time. It stutters down to 45+ though on every game.

I have an I7 processor, a 1070gpu and 16g of ram. Can anyone help me fix this lag issue?

Hi there!
I am new to pcsx2.  Some of my games, like Ratchet and Clank: Up His Arsenal is a little laggy at times. I want to configure my settings, but I have no clue which settings to change, and what some of them do. Can someone please help me get up do date with the setting?

PCSX2...apparently a new problem

searched the web,found the best configs possible, some performance tweaks on my pc, ended having the best raw perormance possible on my pc.....for my first boot, it worked! i got almost stable 60 fps with no lags and issues on almost any game Biggrin , but when i want to boot the game again, it can't even go over 30 fps Blush ! every game runs smoothly the first time but on 2nd boot it's trash Glare ....i tried cleaning my pc's disk(temp files and other cashe files), adjusting the pc for best performance option, installed razer cortex( a program that eliminates every background task possible for smoothest gameplay for any game)but no luck, whatever i do i am still on that trash performance... Ninja
as a summary Tongue : 
1- 1st boot was great
2- 2nd and the rest are surprisingly trash even with the best emulation tweaks
3-i tried every version of pcsx2 but got same results(even with developer builds)
4-i can't play any game properly
my pc specs:
Intel® Core™ 2410M CPU @ 2.30 GHz 2.30GHz
4.00 GB RAM
64-bit win 10 pro/x64 based processor
NVIDIA Geforce 315M

HELP IS GODLY APPRECIATED I WANT TO PLAY MY LEGACY PS2 GAMES IT MEANS ALOT TO ME Wacko Sad !!!!!

Perfomance on linux mint

Hello there. I have a little question. I have installed PCSX2 on my linux mint Cinnamon and it works, but I have a serious problem: the sound.
No matter what options I tweak, the sound is always full of crackle and it doesn't matter what game I try either.

Oh I forgot to mention that on the same machine (I'm dual booting) on Windows 8.1 a somewhat older version of PCSX2 runs perfectly, I can play and the sound is just fine.
The machine is fairly new, so, it's just an issue that only happens to me on linux.

Also a little side question:
Since the new mint 18.3 supports flatpak  I would like to install from flatpak if that helps to get better performance.
I have seen that it's available here

But when I use my distro's package manager, searching for PCSX2 doesn't give any results, so I cannot install it.
Is it a matter of waiting for it to go upstream or something?

Is their gonna be a chance on having pcsx2on android? cz other android ps2 emulators really suck. giving the fact that android runs on a linux kernel( c based language),plus android smartphones nowadays are getting really powerful...
What I' trying to say is, Are pcsx2 developers are thinking of making an android app? like really they can upload it to the playstore and take advantage of sponsors later(or maybe pricing it) and everybody will be satisfied....

pcsc running at only 45 frames and in slow motion

hello so i have had this problem for a while i peak around 48 frames in game will running any iso

my specs 
cpu:i5 7600 3.5 ghz
gpu: gtx 1070 ti
RAM: 8gb
any help would be nice (not familiar with tinkering in settings which is probably the issue thank you for understanding and patience)

Plugin: GSdx 20171228111123 (MSVC 19.00 AVX2/AVX2) 1.1.0
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
GPU: GTX 970M

Description: When moving or jumping against corners, the player can get stuck in midair, while the character's walking animation plays as if they're on the ground. This also bizarrely gives the player the ability to walljump. Not sure if it's a rounding/clamping issue or just a bad ISO.

Windows XP support v2

I started a new thread, because this thread has been abandoned over 8 months ago, and it contained outdated information.

For us faithful Windows XP -users, it is important to know that PCSX2 has begun to cease Windows XP support.

For the newcomers and old veterans who are using Windows XP, the safest option is to use the latest stable version 1.4.0 with SPU2-X for Windows XP - 2.0.0. (Current links, as of December 2017, provided.)

For those users who want to experiment and try developmental builds (with no support), should take notes from below:

Here are the milestones that imply the cease of Windows XP support:
 
v1.5.0-dev-2234-g7a71b6f3d     C. K.     2017-11-29 18:49:16     Download     Flag XP as an unsupported OS.
