hey does anyone know if there are any pnach files for darkwatch or evil dead regeneration, i have searched the web and i cant find them, just how to make a file but im having to success doing it?

How do I set up a steering wheel with PCSX2?

My Logitech Driving Force GT just came in the mail today, and I've been trying to set it up with as many games as possible.

However, Setting it up with PCSX2 is a little.. weird. There's no specific option for setting up a steering wheel here at all. Just the typical controller button bindings. I'm rocking the 1.4.0 version if that means anything, and i'm trying to rebind using Lilypad 0.11.0

Any ideas?

Hello.

i´m new in this forum and my english is bad.

I want to play Persona 3 Fes U so bad but it gets slow, in videos and sometimes in playgame. I want to know if i can adjust the emulator or my computer cant play it.

I have:

PCSX2 1.4.0

And my computer have:

Windows 10
Intel Core i3-5005U CPU 2.00 GHz 2.00 GHz
RAM 4.00 GB
64 bits
HP
Is a Notebook

What can i do? Can i Play? or my computer dont suport this?

Please help.

A question about backups

This isn't exactly PCSX2-related, but you guys are the best people I know who can answer this question, so:

I know it's legal to make your own dump of a game disc and/or system BIOS and use the ISOs and BIOSes for emulation as long as you still own the game disc and/or system, but is it legal to keep the dumped ISOs and BIOSes and continue to use them for emulation even when the game disc and/or system is no longer usable?

I have two copies of Mortal Kombat Trilogy (Greatest Hits) for PS1. One of them has been in very good condition ever since I acquired it, but the other one was heavily scratched on the bottom upon acquisition and had to be resurfaced. I dumped the good copy into an ISO (as well as dumping the PS1 BIOS from my PSP) so I can legitimately play the game via emulation. I'm worried about being able to continue legitimately playing the game via emulation, even when both my copies are so old and deteriorated that I can't use them anymore...

Gran Turismo 4 run from MDS

Hey there, I was just wondering how if it was possible, to play Playstation 2 games from an MDS. I was asking, since I had ripped GT4 to my SD Card (the FS is Fat32), and ImgBurn split into .I00 and .I01 and an .MDS file from the rip. This has happened with other games, (Games over 4GB, because Fat32 can't hold any files over 4GB) and the computer I'm on right now can't hold the game (a space issue), and I want to keep it portable. Any help with this would be appreciated. The size of the card is 16GB for anyone wondering.

When i look up certain plugins like FW or CDVD nothing comes up that i'm able to download for it and a wiki that showed how to get everything working said that it comes with the various plugins already installed but nothing shows up for me other than the stuff that i just downloaded and it anybody has links to the plugins for CDVD and FW i have been looking for them for the pass hour

Hi I have different BIOS and there are games that I have that asked for a different BIOS. When I switch BIOS the game asks to format the memcard. Can I play with different games with different BIOS without formatting the memcard? Thank you in advance. Games are Def Jam Fight for NY (Europe) and God of War 2 (USA)

my computer has a r9 380 4gb graphics card in it and whenever i play on directx 11 hardware it doesnt run right and its very slow. i tried to run this computer i have now with windows 8.1 and directx 11 and games were choppy and messed up. will there be a directx 12 on this program anytime soon ? oh ya im running windows 10 home 64bit with 16 gbs of ram and a cpu of amd radeon AMD FX-8320. the dolphin for gamecube emulator has directx 12 but not this one btw.

Hi,

I'm new in this thing, so ofc, I need help.
Because, for some reason GTA Liberty City Stories on PCSX2 working horrible.
It worked better on my phone, maybe because I have potato PC?

AMD R7 200 Series (I don't know which 200, it's just what PCSX2, GPU-Z and graphic card drivers said)
Intel inside Pentium G3220@3GHz
8GB of RAM 1600MHz

I have some problems configurating a controller with PCSX2. I followed all instructions, but it looks like there's something wrong and the emulator doesn't recognize my pad, a GameSir G4. Here a screenshot of what happens:

It was a realistic game,you are fighthing against enemies (not monsters only humans) the character you are playing is wearing cop or soldier uniform or special op and the game was going in the buildings and the character has a nightstick and can pick up enemies weapons

Since Orphis' buildbot website is not updating the latest commits from Github and Appveyor doesn't provide all gsdx plugins I decided to put dev builds here.

Recommended settings for Soul Calibur 2, Soul Calibur 3 and Tekken 4

Hello everyone  Smile

I would like some help if you don't mind. I wish to run Soul Calibur 2, Soul Calibur 3 and Tekken 4 at a reasonable speed on my PC.

The settings that I have configured so far work very well for Soul Calibur 2 and 3. But it does not seem to be the case for Tekken 4.
I have setup my settings in PCSX2 for the following:

Emulation Settings:

Preset: 4 - Aggressive

Video Settings:

Renderer: Direct3D11 (Hardware)
Texture Filtering: Blinear (PS2)
CRC Hack Level: Full (Safest) 
Ticked "Allow 8-bit textures"

Sound Settings:

Interpolation: 1 - Linear (simple/okay sound)
Ticked "Disable Effects Processing"
Module: 1 - XAudio 2 (Recommended)

My PC specs are: Lenovo ThinkCentre M93p Intel Pentium Dual Core G3240 3.1GHz 4GB RAM

Do you know if there is a configuration that will work for all games at a reasonable speed? Please help me. I wish to stick to PC I got if possible.

Best Settings for FFXII

This is a 2 part question

First in regards to widescreen, do i really need to use a .pnach file to patch the widescreen since the game native supports widescreen from the in game menu. I have enabled it from there, and also selected the pscx2 option to enable widescreen from the file option.

Then i would like your help determining best setting for my two systems. Desktop is core i7 920 with gtx 480, and laptop is core i7 2760 with GT 555M

I know hardware is not enough cant blame the thing, but of course everything is unplayable on this device. Whats the smallest device on a tablet size that can run pcsx2 so i can play my games on the go, without having to carry a gaming laptop

x-files resist or serve is blurry/double-image

I'm playing "x-files resist or serve" from ISO with 3x native internal resolution. I have a 1440p monitor, so I changed the windows settings page options like this: "custom window size: 1920x1440" (that's 3 times 640x480). Is that how you choose the options to play fullscreen?

Anyway, the problem I have is this: At first, I thought the rendering was just blurry. But I decided to take a screen capture and take a closer look. Turns up, it's not blurry, everything is just rendered twice, with a few pixels of shifting vertically. Just zoom in the picture I attached, you'll see. For example, the character has 2 lips, or the rain halos on the ground are double also.

Is there a fix for that?


All my options are default, except the 3x native internal resolution, and the custom window size set to 1920x1440.

my machine:
CPU: i7-5820K no overclock
memory: 32gb
GPU: nvidia GTX 1080
PCSX2 version: 1.4.0
Operating system: windows 10 home

Very specific lagging in MGS 2: Substance

I've been trying to run MGS 2 on PCSX2 but I'm having some issues. Whenever I change to first person view, the game lags to an unplayable state for a few seconds and the audio buzzes. This also occurred a few times during the first cut-scene. I was wondering if my specs might be the issue or if there are some settings I could change? I first tried running it with all default settings and then tried decreasing audio quality and enabling MTVU. Thanks in advance!
Specs are as follows: 8 GB DDR3 Ram, AMD FX™-6350 Six-Core Processor (3.90 GHz), AMD Radeon R9 200 Series GPU
Also, I'm running version 1.4.0.
