[Bug Report] Black NTSC White Lines around the Player's vision

The sunlight and depth of field work in Hardware mode now for the game Black, there is this white line that surrounds the players FOV, I have attached a picture, can one of the PCSX2 developers take a look at this? You can see the white line around the tables and chairs. The white line moves with the player's field of vision.

I am using pcsx2-v1.5.0-dev-2078-g595ad99-windows-x86.7z

I am using opengl hardware, hardware depth has been checked. I have a gtx 1070 strix, Windows 10 x64

Development Builds Download Option Has Disappeared

* i have already tried using wild arms offest HW hack but still can't fix that

Input lag makes rhythm games unplayable

Hi,

I installed PCSX2 today, and tried playing PaRappa the Rapper 2, but there is a very slight input delay that makes the game unplayable. I used to have this same problem when I emulated games in the past (I haven't used emulators in around 8 years).

Is there a fix to this now that we're in 2017? Or are there any other rhythm game (where such delays ruin the experience) enthusiasts that have a recommended way to optimize PCSX2 settings for this genre? (e.g. offsetting the audio track by the input lag duration so at least the audio rhythm is accurate if not the visuals)

Hi folks, I have 8 xbox 360 controllers, but it appears OnePad doesn't support more than two controllers, and the controller dialog for Lillypad doesn't open. Is there any way to use more than two controllers?

Hi, I have a problem with the ultimate Spiderman game. When I have been playing Spiderman for a while, I hang up and get an insufficient memory error, it only happens to me with this game. I have a 4460.8gb ram and nvidia gtx750.
GSdx Settings:
Renderer Directx11(Software)

Edge Anti-Aliasing(AA1)

Mipmapping

Rendering threads :3

Enable FXAA

Hacks:

By the way I have the original game, I dedicated to collect many games of ps2, for me the ps2 is one of the best consoles that ever existed .

Stuck at 70% speed on almost every game

Hello. I know this forums gets a lot of posts like mine. People complaining how their rigs are good and their emulator is slow or doesn't work.
I'm just going to start by saying that my rig is not amazing. It's a bottleneck build for today's games and should handle PCSX2 pretty well.
I will also note that I'm an indie game developer and I'm familiar with how games are optimized.

Finally, I'll throw out my specs:
Processor: AMD FX 6300 (6 Core @ 3.5 GHz)
GPU: AMD Radeon r7 260x 2GB (128 bit data bandwith)

The game I was trying to play was Ratchet and Clank. What I have realized is that my game will run at about 60-70% of the speed, no matter what my resolution, mipmapping or texture filtering settings are. This leads me to believe my GPU does it's work just well. I even turned on forced FXAA in shader settings, no difference. I could see the improvement in edge graphics, but the fps didn't suffer whatsoever.
Because of that, I imeddiately assumed the problem is caused by the processor. But... It's a good processor!  Huh

So what I did is used the game's optimization method in my advantage.
Culling is a process in which games don't draw polygons (models, terrain etc...) unless the camera is faced in the direction of these polygons. Seems logic, right? Why waste processing power to render something you can't even see? So I assumed the game would be much slower if I looked at some mountains. And... It was! As soon as I look into the sky, or a wall, the performance jumps to over 300%. So, a bit over 180fps. That's much more than the original 40 I was getting.

So, since PCSX2 has so much graphic settings you can tweak, my question is: Are there any processor based settings we can tweak? Or maybe, is there something I'm not aware of?

Hello everyone!
So I've been having two very specific game-breaking issues using PCSX2, that I will explain.

The first one occurs on Matrix : Path of Neo. Now, I know that you're supposed to play it in software mode to get an accurate and bug-free experience, but Software mode is way too slow for me. Plus, using DX11 @3x native I can easily get 120 fps. So I wanted to find a workaround to get rid of the blue layer that colored the whole screen in HW mode. (OpenGL is better looking but is also very slow on my computer for some reason) I came across this thread, in which a user found a workaround to get rid of this problem (basically setting skipdraw at 10). I used the exact same settings he used (which you can see in the thread), but in my case, most of the textures are blue, as opposed to the screenshots he provided (only minor ones are blue). I took some screenshots so you can see what I'm talking about :

This also happened in the previous level, some ground textures and almost all wall textures were blue at some point. Character models don't seem to be affected. 


The second issue I have is when playing Death by Degrees, when I get past the tutorial level, save my game at the hotel room and progress forward, the game will always crash after the first loading screen. It also freezes my entire computer, so I have to manually restart it. I found a workaround in this thread, which details my problem : "Disabling CRC hacks the first time it crashed PCSX2 and the second it killed my PC (probably killed the GPU driver). This triggers after the first save point, after you jump through the life saving boats and after the now loading is done." I'm not sure what the poster meant, but I found that you can set the "CRC hack level", I've tried the game with all five different options but all of them crashed my computer.

So I hope you can help me find a solution to my problems.  Biggrin

Intel Core i5-6300HQ 2.3GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M 2GB
4GB DDR4 Memory
1TO HDD
I'm using a developer version of PCSX2, v1.5.0-dev-1909-gae8aa35.
My settings are as follows :

As for the emulation settings, I always use preset 4-Aggressive, with MTVU enabled. I tried running both games using the "slowest"/most accurate settings to see if my speedhacks broke the games, but it didn't work.

Shadow of the Colossus Ultrawide

I've never played with cheat engine before so it took me a while to figure things out, but I managed to get SotC to run at 21:9. Menus and icons are stretched, but this game doesn't have many menus or icons so things work out pretty well. I feel like Ueda would've wanted us to play at this aspect ratio. His cut scenes were all ultrawide already but they unfortunately become ultra ultrawide after the mod. There doesn't seem to be much interest or support for ultrawide monitors with pcsx. But if turns out there is interest, I'll post the pnach.

PCSX2 1.4.0 keeps crashing when loading any game...

So, today I got into pcsx2 back again. Last version was 0.9.8. So I got the latest bios and opened a Budokai 3 rom... It didn't even load. The screen turned the glimps of white and windows said there's a problem in the app. Then I launched two other games... same. I changed the video and even the sound renderer and even then nothing...
What to do?

just asking because to me it seems as a whole lot of spam to get you subscribed to stuff as payment.
the reason why i am asking is because it is on wiki as well and youtube so i am really confused.
i know that pcsx2 requires alot of a pc, i cant even imagine a ps3 emulator.

I am sure I configured all the plugins and bios correctly. I am currently testing pcsx2 on pc with 1.12 GHz and 2GB RAM. The game that I tested is DBZ BT2 which only shows as status=playable when I click CDVD boot fast and Show Console.

TS Future Perfect Problems

Hi guys its the first time i use PCSX2 but Time Splitters 2 works well and Time Splitters Future Perfect when i join the game the Graphic starts to have something like red lines, so i switched to software mode and those red lines are fixed but i still have the problem when a enemy come near to me, the game start to become slow and the graphic its not regular so after 3-4 minutes the game crash.

My pc specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium(64 Bit)
4 GB Ram

Intel® Core™ i7-2630 QM CPU @2.00 GHz  2.00 Ghz
Nvidia GeForce GT 540M Cuda 1 GB

Using PCSX2 with Apple Disc Sharing (Remote Disc)

I'm trying to get some screenshots of a PS2 game for a blog post I'm writing, and my HP laptop can't emulate the PS2 and my Linux PC which is far more powerful can, but I just discovered that its optical drive is probably dead. 

My next bet is my 2015 Retina Display MacBook Pro, which in theory should be able to emulate the PS2 quite well because of its Intel Core i5 CPU (As a side note, I asked a question here in 2013 about why I got "slow motion" in PCSX2 on my HP laptop and I discovered later on that it's because AMD CPUs didn't have a high instruction per clock count like Intel CPUs did and that's why PCSX2 performed poorly).

However, because my MacBook Pro is a Retina Display model, it lacks an optical drive. I've been able to use Apple's utility that allows you to share the optical drive between my MacBook and other Macs and Windows laptops over the network, now the trouble seems to be with actually getting PCSX2 to read the discs being shared over the network. 

I've been using my HP's optical drive to read the disc. The game disc mounts to my MacBook's desktop and I can access the files on the disc as I should be able to, but when I attempt to boot PCSX2, it crashes with a "Segmentation fault 11" error. According to a post I found, this is caused by bad ISO rips which is not applicable to my scenario, so I thought that PCSX2 might not be reading the optical discs inserted into my HP laptop and read by my MacBook. 

Can anyone shed some light onto my situation?

Persona 4 Blurring/Ghosting while in the Overworld

Whenever I move my character in the overworld it has a blur or ghosting effect. Is there any way to fix this?

Persona 4 Action replay codes?

Hi all, I ***** up the ending of persona 4, and I was a dumb ass and didn't resave until before the previous boss fight. So I want to breeze through the boss and just cheat up the strongest persona. So my question pertains to the syntax of the action replay. How would I go about telling the action replay to summon, say, lucifer?

Recently pcsx2 has been going at 30fps for games at 50% speed. It was working perfectly at 60fps before and suddenly dropped one day. I don't know why it happened; maybe i accidentally pressed something or turned on vsync. Turbo mode also doesn't affect speed. I'd appreciate help. Thank you

WWE Games are Blury

When I tried to play them last night I noticed they are bit Blurry and not Clear.

I have tried OpenGL and DX in the Video Plug-Ins and no Difference.

I am using 1 of the latest GIT Version. Not the Latest but 1 or 2 Versions Back.

Is this Fixable or something that is just happens in the Emulator at the Moment?
