If I cant get a pnach file from somebody then can somebody help explain to me how to use cheats in pcsx2 because I have been having a lot of trouble and can't figure it out I don't know what I'm doing wrong

[Bug Report] Kingdom Hearts 2 Mulan Glitch
I've googled the problem but it seems no one else has it? Whenever I use cheats for KH2 My weapon is swapped with mulan's character model...its a weird bug. Does anyone else have this issue and possibly a solution?

How to transfer PS2 game save to USB drive with PS3?
A friend of mines gave me his YLOD 60GB PlayStation 3 and I was able to revive it back to life. I have a USB PlayStation 2 memory card reader for the PS3 which I want to transfer a game save on it to my USB drive then move it over to my computer so that I can load it on PCSX2 using the MYMC utility. I wasn't able to find an option to this on the PS3, the only one that was given to me is to transfer the PS2 game save to the internal PS2 memory card on the PS3. Would it be possible to do this given what I have on hand?

I'm having major issues w/ controller
I'm using SCPToolkit and I can't seem to activate LilyPad modification. No matter where I put PCXS2, whenever I attempt to browse for it, it won't exist. I literally made a folder named "Where PCSX2 Is" and it still did not exist. I reinstalled the entire thing into that folder, and yet, nothing. I need to use this modification if I can ever hope of using the controller to play Ultimate Alliance 2.

[Bug Report] Klonoa 2 General issues...
In the Most recent git version of pcsx2 Klonoa 2 has several in game issues... The title screen has no audio until I create a new save file at which point the background music becomes audible but no sound effects are heard through the entire game... In the intro cut scene the dream voice is surrounded by a black square this is more or less visible as I turn up or down mipmapping I'm pretty sure. and when you zoom into the ring there is a weird green color that fills the screen.

What do you prefer
Wondering, what you people like to play on, the real PS2 or PCSX2 (considering pc that can run full speed)?
I'm having real PS2 and PCSX2, i like the ps2 for accurate and no hassle. Like PCSX2 for higher resolutions and other GFX improvements, savestates and be able to use many different controllers, unlimited memcard space (although possible with usb/freemcboot on ps2).
Space not being a real issue, but having a hard time deciding what is going to be my main platform, for now i have both but swapping cables and controllers....

Vice City Stories: Subtitles in Black Boxes, or Slow FPS
When I use the OpenGL Hardware renderer, the game runs at normal speed but the subtitles are all in black boxes, as are some of the banners. When I use any of the software renderers, the subtitles and banners are transparent, but the game slows down a lot. How can I fix this?

so everything is ok but when i go on races i get these vertical redish bluish greenish lines im in the version 1.4.0 any fixes?

Using cheat engine with the original devil may cry

Unfortunately, when I play the original Devil may cry using PCSX2, I get 2 problems: the first is that the game slows down at boss fights and at some instances of minion fights; the second my life bar doesn't increase with any of the blue orbs I acquire. (blue orbs are hp upgrades). Because of these issues, I have shamefully resorted to cheating via cheat engine. The problem is I don't quite know how. Does anyone know how to hack the hp bar and freeze it? I tried doing an "unknown initial value-decrease value-4byte" scan, but this didn't work. Maybe health is stored as a double or a floating point? Or maybe it's more complex than that?
Anyhow an actual fix would be pointless until I clean all the dust from my laptop. Until then just advice on how to freeze and unfreeze my hp bar will be good enough.

FPS issues
I have recently installed PCSX2, and I've been trying to play Kingdom Hearts II - Final Mix but can't because I've been getting FPS issues. I've tried playing with the settings already, for example:
- disabling framelimiting
- adjusting base frame rate
- enabling speed hacks (including EE cyclerate and VU Cycle stealing)
- enabled MTVU
- changed renderer in plugin settings to Direct3D11 (hardware)
- increased anisotropic filtering to 16x
- enabled HW hacks
- played with internal resolution
My specs are:
- AMD Radeon HD 8650G + HD 8750M Dual Graphics
- AMD A10-5757M APU with Radeon HD graphics, 2500 mhz, 4 cores, 4 logical processors
- 8 gb RAM
Using the latest PCXS 1.4.0 and the default GS: GSdx 20160105132032 (MSVC 19.00, AVX) 1.0.0 [gsdx32-avx]
When I play, I usually get 80-90% EE, 40-50% GS and around 50% VU. I also get around 50% speed, at around 30 fps.

(TUT) how to disc swap with DW5XL on pcsx2
I'm not sure if this fits in the discussion section but please move mods if it does
So I have some people on youtube and other forums besides this one who have wondered how disc swap works in dynasty warriors 5 xl on pcsx2..So I gave these instructions to them and it seemed to work for them and already for me of course. So then I decided to give this tutorial to this forum for any of those wanting to know how to disc swap their dw5xl so they can play both dw5 vanilla and XL versions...
Yes I did base my instructions off of Drax's thread and specifically his post on page 2: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Dynasty-W...VED?page=2
So any similarities you see, don't be surprised
1.Create three folders, one for dw5xl, dw5 vanilla, and one for the real dw5xl iso that you will create + allow you to play vanilla and xl together
2. Extract dw5 vanilla iso to dw5 vanilla folder and dw5 xl to the xl folder you created
3.From dw5 vanilla's folder > modules, copy and paste file ioprp300 and KOEISND.IRX to modules folder of dw5xl
4.Do not overwrite anything and allow those two files to copy over to the modules folder
5. Go to imgburn, Create image file from folders
6. Source should be your dw5xl file that you copied the two previous files to, destination is your third folder you created in step 1
7.Click build > accept yes for everything, this shouldn't effect anything..Your iso should have been built successfully to your third folder
8. After it is done, go to pcsx2 and load the iso you created in previous step, Game should load normally as XL game
9.Go to Load original, and when it tells you to swap disks > Swap to your dW4 vanilla iso>swap disc
10. game should detect vanilla disc and prompt you to load XL version, re-load your iso you loaded before in #8
11. After a short while, you should be booted back to the menu screen with mosou mode and all other modes unlocked
There ya go, you can play dw5xl and vanilla version together now!![Laugh]( "Laugh")

About sound issue in GTA : VC
Ok, another thing, was trying Vice City on PCSX2 today, ran direct from the disc, tried setting from stereo to DTS (this is 4 channels on the actual PS2), but on PCSX2, no error comes but no sound either. PC is connected to an receiver that is capable of DTS, so is my pc, as every pc is for that game, since the actual PS2 doesnt even have any dedicaded sound module that encodes DTS or DD, assume thats done in software on the CPU or one of the VU's.
Asking this as Vice City PS2 actually has better sound (higher bitrate) then the PC version, playing the PS2 version in high res with the DTS is VC in full glory.
Im not connecting via optical (as you do with PS2), but via discrete, if that matters any.

HELP! I can't swap discs for CodeBreaker!

So I recently downloaded and installed a PCSX 2 on my computer and I downloaded CodeBreaker v.10.
The first game I got was Syphon Filter - The Omega Strain (USA Version).
So I booted up CodeBreaker, selected my cheats but when I tried to swap discs back to SF, PCSX 2 freezes.
Anything I can do to fix this? Any more information I could give out on the matter that I didn't already?
My knowledge of computers is very basic but was enough to install PCSX 2.

Problem with sly 3

PCSX2 detecting controller but not when I boot up the .ISO
I'm trying to play Katamari Damacy from an .ISO. PCSX2 detects my controller, let's me bind the buttons, and even when I use the test feature it registers when I press all buttons and use the joysticks.
But when I load the .ISO, it won't register anything. I even tried registering keys with the keyboard, and when I boot that it still doesn't recognize my binds! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to make sure I installed everything to the right location and I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. This is my first time using a PS2 emulator.![Sad]( "Sad")
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Select button? help pleas!
Hi, I downloaded the Ratchet and Clank 3 iso and started playing, i configured my controller and its all perfect. When i enter the game the select button does not work, i made sure it was correctly binded to X on my controller and nothing happened. I binded it to another working key and still nothing happened. I dont know what to do please help me!

issues with codebreaker freezing as well as issues with enabling cheats through pnach
hey yall i'm having some issues here both with codebreaker freezing after enabling cheats and trying to start a game as well as with trying to use the alternate method which is using a pnach file. with the pnach file i click on the enable cheats under the system pull down menu i start up the game as normal but i see now physical way to actually activate the cheats. and no activated cheats are actually showing up in game so i'm wondering what i am doing wrong in the pnach department. as far as codebreaker goes i click on the cheats i want to use for the particular game i want to play i click on start game swap the disk from codebreaker to the game disk go back over to codebreaker hit the designated key for x and the whole pcsx2 freezes on my and i have to use taskmaster to close pcsx2. i'm using ver 1.4.0 might anyone be able to help me resolve my issue?
