When I try to run the game a message pops up saying "can't create log file logs/GSnull.log. I try changing the GSnull Driver to another GS but a message pops up saying "Applying Settings" and takes forever to apply. What can I do? I have PCSX2 1.4.0.

TAB, ESC and other keys no longer working
Yo guys, I been using this emulator for roughly 5 years with no issues. I didn't use it for awhile because i sold my ps3 and was using my ps3 controller to play. I got a new unofficial USB ps3 controller from game and set it all up and it is working fine. However, for whatever reason when i went to use PCSX2 again after this break all my plug ins, bios, settings and everything else reset. I lost all my saves on my memcard, and i can't load any of my old save states. On top of that (and what i am having most trouble fixing) ESC and TAB aren't working at all. All the F keys are working (which is weird considering the save-state issue) but ESC and TAB, the keys i use the most, aren't working at all.
I have completely uninstalled and deleted all traces of PCSX2 off my computer then re-installed. I have tired using a different pad plugin that isn't lillypad. I have tried changing the ini folder and making it a completely different key (+.-). None of these things have worked. Oh and also making L3 turbo doesn't work either... I am a bit vexed and need that turbo to actually play things lmao

Please help
I'm sorry I'm new to this and sorry if it's in the wrong section of forums but can anyone please help me on how to use cheats for my pcsx2 FFX int game? I've tried looking for over 2 hours or so now on how to put the cheats in game but nothing is working. I'm not sure if I'm just not doing it correctly or looking right or whatever the case but some help would greatly be appreciated.
Tried using omniconvert 1.0.3 but not sure what to do other than converting? and tried cheat engine but honestly... just messed up the game =\ and not sure how to use the pnach or what it really is )=

"The program has encountered a serious problem"
The game works just fine but about 5 minutes later the game crashes and a message pops up saying that the program encountered a serious problem and needs to close. What can I do? I'm playing Crash Tag Team Racing and have the 1.2.1 version of PCSX2. These are the specs of my mac:

Champions of Norrath won't start
Hey Guys,
i got a Problem with Champions of Norrath, i just installed PCSX2 1.4 with europe Bios 2.20.
I watched some tutorials, configured some stuff and selected the ISO to play.
When i start the ISO a "Lagging" Playstation 2 Logo appears with the sound and disappears like it should, normally as i know it from my old Playstation this is the moment when the game is about to run, but i only get a black screen and nothing happened.
I googled and checked the stickys in this forum but unforunetily my english is not that good and i couldn't find any fixes for my problem, so it would be awesome if you could explain a bit "easier" for me if you know what i mean, hope you guys can help me!

hey guys i've started playing this game recently and its bugging and that really ruins the game for me
when i go to the character selection screen the head of my character isn't visible...being stuck with a face i don't like isn't the way
I've tried changing rez and that doesn't seem to be the issue.. also in a cutscene the dons houses interior is black.
any help would be appreciated

Lower performance on latest dev builds
Hello, I'm here just to give some feedback on the latest build (1911 and 1744.). I've tested many games with them on openGL renderer, with and without basic blending and accurate date because I've noticed for the first time that rogue galaxy "raging dragon" simon ability had a graphical glitch and less details on DirectX11 renderer and with openGL without the accuracy options enabled. The difference in performance was expected. But, I decided to compare with the stable builds, 1.2 and 1.4, and I've noticed that the glitches were fixed in OGL mode + accuracy settings enabled without almost any performance degradation. It was performing well like in Dx11, but without visual glitches.
Something that I've noticed is that the game started lagging after some time in random places, such as Dorgenark Control Room (build 1911) which never had such problem before in older builds. A workaround that i found in the latests dev builds that I tested was to set the hacks to Aggressive on OGL mode. Dx11 in the latest versions didn't fixed the performance degradation in some situations, while the version 1.4 was smooth with OGL+Basic Blending+Accurate Date, 60fps @ native res w/o MSAA or FXAA + PS2 filtering and "Allow 8-bit" disabled. Now I've tested with external shaders and its all smooth and beautiful heh.
I know that this performance hit is probably due to an improvement on accuracy of pcsx2(maybe not), but I think its good to give some feedback about these stuff. I've tested on a low-end notebook (6Gb ram, i5 2450m @3.1Ghz, gt630m Oc'd a bit, Windows 10 w/ Steam as Shell replacement, Nvidia Driver 376.33+nvidia inspector changes). Badass rigs can hide some ***** with their brute performance, so I guess its a good idea to give my experience with the emu to you guys as well.![Tongue2 Tongue2]()

Time Crisis 3 - Black textures
Good day everyone.
I played Time Crisis 3 and some textures appear to be just black especially on the enemies.
Even the bullets on the lower left side are gone and the health meter on the upper right is also without texture.
In addition to that the edging for the main menu navigation is also gone.
Could you please be so kind and help me out?

Hardware Depth and accuracy (Stable version 1.4)
Not necessarily an issue, but a doubt:
When I tested Odin Sphere on stable v1.4 with hardware Depth activated, the game was really slow at the memory card menu in the begining of the game. I unchecked the option and it was ok again.
Question:
Does Odin Sphere need this option to display everything ok or not? Is Hardware Depth an option for a specific set of games (most of them 3d) or activating it will always result in better accuracy no matter what, meaning that my pc is just not powerful enough to handle the game in its full glory? Thanks.

Help my controller wont work
I am using a steelseries stratus xl and when i try to enter a key binding it just keeps showing up as y or x rotation such as when i try to enter square it does this and its very irradiating does anyone know how to fix this

what is the best way to update the version of pcsx2?
title, i like to stay updated with the latest version of the emu and update once a month but the first time i went to do it, i copied over all my games to thebes's new folder (took forever) but i forgotten to do so with my saves so i went and deleted them all by accident. anyways wash wondering if there is a simpler way to click an for drag the new version in or what all do i need to do in preparation

Medal of Honor Rising Sun black screen
Hi there again, so the problem is very simple, I tried Rising sun and I only get black screen after the first loading icon, thank god that I had super Alt-F4 running.

PCSX2 completely crashing on new system.
Hello, I recently upgraded my system to the new Kaby Lake processor and the results for this emulator is disastrous... Most of the time crashing before even gameplay. On both the official and the Git versions. I'd like to say it happens at a certain point but it's really just random, sometimes it's as soon as I boot, sometimes I get into gameplay.

Certain background pictures in Fatal Frame have checkerboard-like squares
In some background pictures, such as the title screen and certain chapter/character introduction screens, they exhibit a grid in what resembles a checkerboard on it. Usually, this is a problem with raising the internal resolution but I'm playing on OGL Software mode. I know SW mode always run at the native resolution so I don't know what's causing this. I know this is a regression because this problem didn't used to exist.

DEV9giga-razi not showing up in list of plug ins
Despite extracting and pasting the plugin inside the plugins folder like so:

[Bug Report] Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks (PAL) Textures Glitches and Speed up
First and foremost: Hi, I'm new here, I barely speak english so I gonna try my best to explain myself.
The PAL version of this game have two problems (at least it happened to me, because I saw some people who run this one with no problems).
The first problem that I can see since the beginning is a speed up with no fps increment, anyway I can fix it putting the emulation preset to "6- mostly harmful", but I don't understand why it happens.
BUT the big problem is when I come to the Wu-Shi Academy and the bar life and some textures like experience, life balls or some attacks animations by the Baraka's disciples crash. It's pretty annoying, most for the bar life, so I can't play.
I really want to play the Pal version because of my language, spanish, if somebody can help me I gonna be very grateful. Thanks for the space, I gonna put some images of my trouble.
(Oh, and sorry for my english)
