Mipmapping is fixed in hardware mode in newer revisions [Image: laugh.gif] The player's aircraft is still black but when playing in first person camera, it isn't too annoying. My i3 is way too slow for software mode.

* But is there a setting I can change to fix the sun showing like a garbled rectangle?
* Also, when enabling 2x resolution there is a problem with black rectangles, any solution?

Will PCSX2 run ok on my computer?

PCSX2 frame pacing is terrible.

I'm playing Tony Hawks 4 on emulator and it holds olid 60FPS (Perfect right?)

I have the real console and over SMB it is vastly smoother on real PS2 hardware, yet the game is the exact same frame rate...
60FPS in PCSX2 looks like 30FPS not 60.

Any fixes?

Hoping you guys can help me out here. Having this annoying problem now, thing is I wasn't having any plugin issues 2 weeks ago the last time I booted up PCSX2. I've downloaded other BIOS versions to see if something happened with it? U.S. EU, and Jap BIOS, but the issue is the same across. I've used the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to verify I have an up to date Directx11. I have two version of PCSX2, 1.2.1 & 1.4.1. I've copied the logs for both below too.

Help with "GS plugin failed to open"

Hi there guys, looking to get some help resolving this. Ran into an issue today when opening up my emulator. I was getting the annoying "GS plugin failed to open" error message on my logs after i'd try to run an ISO, ran several to see if this was consistent and it was. Thing is, my emulator was working perfectly fine two weeks ago when I last opened it up. I have looked on the forums in several threads and have tried what most commonly seemed to be a download of "DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)" to fix things, but that didn't make any difference. I'm still having a plugin failure. I pasted the log below, let me know if you need anymore information, thanks.  Cool

System Specs:

Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600) (9600.winblue_ltsb.160930-0600)

Memory: 16GB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

I'm running the 1.2.1  version of PCSX2:

PCSX2 actual frame rate

Hello everyone. I've just registered to seek information on this subject because I can't seem to find answers anywhere.
So basically I'm trying to record gameplay videos using the internal recording feature of pcsx2 (f12). It works pretty good and the resulting files have very good quality and the performance impact is bearable (I'm using the uncompressed option at rgb32 with a resolution of 1280x720). The file size is huge but I prefer to encode to a smaller file afterwards anyways.
However, since I live in a PAL region and the games that I own are PAL they all perform at 25fps and I would like to convert them to 30fps just for fun (I've been doing some research into this but haven't messed around it yet). I don't know if this will be an issue, but the resulting file says the video plays at 50fps, when it clearly does not (the game is Dark Chronicle btw). Also, in the Gdsx window it says the game is performing at 50fps. Why is this so? And how would I go about converting? Would I assume the video is playing at 25fps and convert to 30fps? Should I assume it is running at 50fps and convert to 60fps? Or something else entirely? Again, this is for experimenting purposes only, I'm not saying that PAL is worse than NTSC or vice-versa.
Thanks in advance Smile

Persona 3 FES slight stutter before each combat

Hello Smile
When running Persona 3 FES with pcsx2 1.4.0, there is a slight stutter before each combat. I tried persona 3 FES on my ps3 (psn version) and there are no stutter at all.
I thought that maybe there was something wrong with my system specs or pcsx2 settings, but then I checked some videos on youtube (like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAnN2p64YkE for example) and most of the time, there is a slight stutter before each combat too.

It seems like I'm the only one noticing this weird issue though, so I decided to create a thread Tongue2

Is there some kind of solution to fix this weird issue? (I find it bothersome)

My system specs:
6Gb RAM
i7 3630QM 2.4ghz (up to 3.4 ghz on turbo mode)
GT 740M

Silent Hill 2 attack types not compatible with xbox controller help

I just started silent hill 2 and saw that my guy only does a strong attack, which I found out is because xbox controllers don't support pressure sensitivity. I was wondering if there was a way to simulate the effect of pressure sensitivity in the game (Example: pressing 1 button for 1 type of attack and maybe pressing that same button plus another one for a strong attack or vice versa). Any help is appreciated.

Wanting to play Final Fantasy XII on my laptop, but there's a weird bug with the right analog stick. rather than moving the camera up, it makes the character walk to the left. i'm using a Gameware pad with the latest Lillypad plugin. my laptop is an Intel i3 5005-U 2.0Ghz, 8GB ram and Intel HD 5500 graphics. not spectacular i know, but i'm not interested in higher resolutions, i like them to look as native as possible

Greetings. I'm trying to play this game but I get an annoying "ghost" image, like it was drawing the objects twice and misaligned. I tried using software mode with native resolution, it's hard to see but the issue seems to still be there, it kinda hurts the eyes after some time trying to play. I also tried using the hack for Namco games, the description seemed to fit perfectly, but didn't change anything... I couldn't find other people with the same issue with the game.

Can somebody help me figure it out?

Mountain Lion 10.8.5, problems with graphics

Hi all,

I apologize if my new post is a repetition but I have tried to go through all the discussions, searching for the answers, but there are simply too many. If a similar question is posted anywhere else, please send me the link.

I recently downloaded PCSX2 0.9.7 for my 2007 IMAC with Mountain lion 10.8.5, 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, memory 4GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM.
I manage to start it but these are the following problems:
- GTA San Andreas has serious problems with the graphics and the game is black, except the small map and the configuration pages.
- Medal of Honor Vanguard runs slowly.

Audio works quite well.

Anyone has the same characteristics and recommends some particular settings?

thank you very much,

Steve
