[Bug Report] Yakuza 2 [PAL]

PCSX2 version: 1.5.0-dev-1856
EE/IOP/VU: Default / Preset 2 - Safe
Plugins Used: GSdx 20170127142046 (MSVC 19.00 SSE4.1/AVX) 1.1.0 - OpenGL Hardware - internal resolution 3840x2160
Description: The latest beta (or one of the recent releases) added support for Trilinear filtering in GSdx settings. Using any Trilinear option with Yakuza 2 causes many elements of the map to disappear. This affects both the in-game minimap and the pause menu full map.

With trilinear filtering enabled, map elements such as player location arrow, shops, visible roads etc do not display.

Steps to reproduce
1. In GSdx plugin configuration, select OpenGL Hardware rendering.
2. Under the 'Filtering' config option, choose any of the 3 Trilinear filtering options.
3. Confirm, and in-game observe the appearance of the minimap. Press start and observe the appearance of the menu map.
4. Go back to GSdx config options and change 'Filtering' to any of the Bilinear options.
5. Confirm, and in-game observe the map. It will now display correctly.

Hello everyone ! I hope your evening is going alright .

If i come here tonight, it's to share a little problem i have with pcsx2 1.5
I decided i'd like to play some good old Makai Kingdom, but i stumbled upon a minor problem , but that makes the experience of gaming not as good as i wanted :Tongue2

When i first launched the game, i realised the resolution was quite bad :

I then changed the resolution, but another problem appeared : as you can see , a blue circle is supposed to show me the area of effect of the skills of my charachters. With the higher resolution, this circle became next to invisible.

but, more important, the text seems buggy for some reason, and sometimes it make it a bit rash for the eyes.

Anyway, as i said, it is a minor problem, but i'd like to solve it, it's still more pleasant to play in a higher resolution

strange problem

Hey guys, new here. i'm kinda noob, so please be patient.
I just downloaded the emulator and run a game, but I got some strange bug on specific parts of the game (main page, settings, some parts in-game), but cinematics and the game itself runs just fine.
I don't know if the game is corrupted or if it's because there's something I need to config to make it work perfectly
Can you help me out on this?

What happened to PCSX2 performance?

I used to play Burnout 3 often on PCSX2 a while ago with pretty good performance with an HD 7850. I decided to try the emulator and Burnout 3 out again after some time since the last time, and now the program has a lot of input lag, and performance is worse with more stuttering than I remember. This is all with an i7-5775c and GTX 1070; PC games work great (Witcher 3 max settings 60+ FPS for example) as does Dolphin, so my computer isn't the problem.

So did something change recently? Am I missing something?

I basically downloaded pcsx2 strictly for jak 3, it was my favorite game growing up and id love to re-play it. I have been messing with settings all day and have the game running at a smooth 60fps. The only issues remaining are 1. all water seems to have a striped graphical issue and 2. The desert ground is VERY glitchy, just constantly fluttering with black boxes. i was hoping someone could take a look at my settings and see if theres anyway i can clean these issues up.

Edit 2: still using the settings in the first edit, game is playable but the desert is really buggy, anyone know a fix?

frezze n crash issue

so while playing ffxii  and to beclear i mean the english version not the japanese one, the the game suddennly frezzes and the emulator often crashes or gos unresponsive when that happens. 

any help would be greatly apreceated

also  do u  need the 2015 visual c++ if u have the latest version installed cus i cant install the 2015 one enless i unistall the latest one

Steering wheel help please! :c

I am trying to get my steering wheel to work and play NFS: Underground 2! I have tried everything and failed. I download the plugin off the offical website for steering wheels and coustomized the steering wheel and did all of the tests! Steer left, Steer Right, Brake, and Gas and it appeared to work 100% fine so i click ok and launch my game but when i get in game and it says press X to continue i cannot press X, and yes i did set a button to X, Ive tryed restarting the emulator and then customizing again. Launching as Admin. Trying to set up the wheel using lilypad but that only picks up the X and Y axis and not the buttons. When i go to lilypad and select my wheel and test it all of the wheels bottons and sterring appears to be working fine but yet when i go to set up a pad i cant find the buttons. Ive literally tryed everyhitng. I have a Thrustmaster TMX FF and it should work i dont understand why it isint. a few other Thrustmaster models were repoted working. Please someone help. I tryed finding a video on how to set up a steering wheel with PCSX2 but no luck.

i was wondering if anyone has a finaly fantasy XII file saved after the judge fight in the airship ( or atleast close to it) my save got corrupted some how and it was alot of hours of game play and dont feel like replaying that many hours for the 3rd time. thank you in advance :Smile also i dont know if this goes here or not figured i would see if it gets moved to another thread il know then

Graphics glitch that i cant fix

So the majority of games i have play fine except SSX Tricky (which my character randomly vanishes so i cant see what im doing) but im trying to make a playthrough for my YouTube channel for the game TimeSplitters Future Perfect but theres a glitch in the graphics that i cant solve. ill post a link to my youtube channel so you can see the glitch yourself but sometimes its so bad its unplayable.

Game Crashes at Certain Point

I'm playing Digital Devil Saga, and after a certain scripted action happens during the boss battle with Rahu, it crashes. 

I've played through this particular boss without problems a few months ago but suddenly it's doing this now and I'm pretty sure I didn't change anything.

PCSX2 is version 1.4.0. I've tried starting it as an administrator which doesn't do anything and I've rebooted PCSX2 to no avail.

just like attached image, sometimes i got this error, but don't really understand exactly what it meant, and usually followed by it was corrupted save state
 situation as such happens not all the time but occasionally, and I've to replay quite a long way if forgot to save in-game if corrupted save state happens again.
so any idea then ? perhaps i should deleted all my settings and let pcsx2 created a whole new one ?

Texture Injection and Dumping

This has been discussed before here many times, but, is it doable to add this pcsx2 ?

I know that dolphin has made more progress, due to the system being easier to understand etc. But recently 60 fps patches have been popping up here. So maybe in a few years texture packs can be made too ?

I'm not a technical guy, and i know that developing an emulator is a tremendous undertaking, even more so with a complex system such as the PS2.
