hi there,
now before i start asking question and help...
im new here,and ppl might asked this question and had the same problem so sorry if im asking the same issue that every body talked about...

now the issue that i have here is when i play the game the speed slow down to 70% and its really annoying since i can't enjoy playing.
i want to play with full res,and HD (well its PS2 game so not that HD that we have now days but still...)

my specs :
Intel i5 4590 CPU 3.3 GHz  3.30 GHz
4GB RAM 
EVGA GTX 750ti 2GB 
(sorry im noob and i think only these stuff matter..)

now
i watched some old vids on how to unlimit the framerate !
and when i disable the frame limiter ! the game went nutts and crazy full speed up to 200%+ maybe 400% .....
and in game worked well...
while i tweaked some other stuff and the game is working very well right now , not the best Graphics but still i can play the game as a PS2 now...
so any one can help me out with this please ?
i want a good quality with perfect if not a decent game play with no slow speed... a stable 100% speed would make my day.....

when i said i set up everything i meant the plug-ins that this emulator already have...

i didn't talk about any bios or anything that contain a link to those stuff........ did i posted a link ? how's is that a piracy and second im new here !

this is how you treat new ppl and expect them to know everything about your forums ? 

i didn't really expect this... and i hoped i some one might help me out with the issue that i have.

It's been a long time since any issue in the dotHack GU games has been talked about, and still nothing to come of it. I'm here to talk about some of the issues still prevalent in the games' emulation.

Let's talk about the "Double Vision" issue, first.

Now, as I write this, the game is currently paused in the background. This issue is there all the time. However, it is most prevalent when the internal resolution is upscaled. The "Half-Pixel Offset" doesn't work, let's get that straight. In all of my images, I have a custom resolution of (currently) 1366 x 768. As you can see, the issue is very visible. I've tried the offset, and it seems that 0,6000 seems to do something but... The problem is that there are a total of four images. The one main image, and 3 "Ghosts." I believe that this is some sort of post processing choice on Cyber Connect's part, but it looks downright ridiculous when upscaled. And lets face it. Who the hell wants to play a PS2 game on this emulator without upscaling if they have the power?

The reason I came to the conclusion that this must be a post processing issue is thus:

This images shows that the UI is not affected by this issue. Now. I'm not an expert or anything. But that looks like Post Processing to me.

However, this issue is not prevalent during certain cutscenes. I, unfortunately, do not have any examples.

Let's talk about the mini map, next. In the above image, you see no problem with the minimap. However, in the image below, you DO see a problem.

The culprit, you ask? I've narrowed it down to two things. Anti-Aliasing and using the "Bilinear (Forced)" option in GSDx. Not together, mind you. Even having only one of these settings on will cause the issue to appear. Not sure what the game's problem is, but it seems to only happen if you use either (or both, it's not like they cancel each other out). Using anything other than native internal resolution does not have an effect on this issue.



So. I've established some issues (Really, the only issues) with the emulation of this game. They aren't game breaking, just annoying. We can safely assume this isn't hardware related because I've gone through this on (essentially) two different computers.


These issues prevent the game from being truly beautiful when you want it to be. I've tried all the hacks there are. I haven't tried all the combinations of them, but I don't have time for that. If I did, I wouldn't be posting this up, calling on you all to help figure this damn thing out. Now get out there and figure this damn thing out!


Also, it's probably worth mentioning I've been using the DX11 Hardware Rendering. Screw DX9. Over it.

Zeonic Front: Unresolved Issues

Hi, I'm trying to play Zeonic Front, but I'm encountering trouble that makes the game play less enjoyable and almost impossible in some instances.
There is another thread where someone has encountered the same issues as me, though it did not seem to be resolved as of yet. It is located here: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Zeonic-front-help

Now, what I am seeing is that during cinematic (movie) moments the screen seems just a tad bit twitchy. The transition screen during which would usually display images or notes about the game play do not load properly and appear like this (example screenshot): http://imageshack.com/a/img922/9944/1q0BsI.png

And during the game play, some graphics do not appear to load such as some (but not all) mobile suits. This is annoying when it is your own mobile suits, but even more so when it happens to enemies you are simply unable to see because of this problem. Here's an example where you can see Zaku II's are invisible with their weapons floating in the air where they stand, while some allied Zaku I's appear to the right fully visible. http://imageshack.com/a/img921/8042/7dibgl.png

The ISO of the game I am using is not downloaded, but one I made myself from my own copy of this game. As such, it is an entirely different copy from the one used by the other person in the other Zeonic Front trouble thread I linked above.

It could be that limitations of the PC myself (and the other person from the thread Linked above) are the reason for these problems, but I'm not convinced that is the case. Has anyone else successfully played this game on the PCSX2 emulator without the same problems? Can anyone who perhaps has not tried it see if they experience the same issues?

I have tried a little troubleshooting on my own, and while I would appreciate some suggestions, at the same time, I would rather hear from others who have either solved this problem, or experienced a similar issue on a different game. It would also interest me to know if anyone has played this game on PCSX2 without any of these issues.

PCSX2 Versions: 1.4.0, 1.21, 1.0.0

Emulation Options: Preset - 1 (No Speedhacks, All Recommended Settings)

Plugins Used: GSDx. SPU2-X, LilyPad (Rest are Null)

Description: "Double Vision" issues. The Issue actually spans across all Three (3) games in the .hack//G.U. series. Regardless of hacks used or not used (It is ever present) there are Three (3) "Ghost" images laid upon the main rendered image. The issue becomes more prevalent with upscaling. Here is an example:
.png   GU2.PNG (Size: 1,7 MB / Downloads: 7) (1366 x 768 custom internal resolution used to amplify the effect, though can be amplified with any upscaling setting). The larger the upscale, the more severe the effect.
The issue only affects the 3-Dimensional Rendering, and not the UI. It seems that most cutscenes do not have the issue. Possibly Post Processing that gets blown up with the upscaling, but I'm no expert.

Tested on Two (2) different computers. Most recently used specs:

APU A8-5600K Quad-Core
(GPU inactive, No Overclock)


Radeon HD 7870 XFX Core Edition
(Dual Dissipation, No Overclock)

8 GB DDR3 1600MHz
(No Memory Clock)

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit

Extra Notes: There is a large section of space on the lower portion of the screen where the effect is not visible. Using the TC Offset Setting X:0 Y:6000 I was able to bring that line down and align one (1) of the images with the original, but the other two ( 2) still remain. Have tried with CRC hacks set to Full, None, and Agressive, have tried what some have suggested and used the Half-Pixel Offset HW Hack, all to no avail.

Extra Extra Notes: It is worth mentioning that the issue/effect is still there, even in native. It seems to be a sort of bloom, used to emphasize the backstory of a game within a game. I could be wrong, but it is there either way. Both hardware and software rendering on DX9 and 11 were used, none of which made a difference. OpenGL Hardware Rendering was used, to no avail. I am unable to test OpenGL software, for some unknown reason. I may be missing something in my drivers, but that's something I'll have to look into on my end and is in no way a reflection of the bug/issue. I have included two more images in the attachments.

Edit: The other two (2) "Ghost" images are more prevalent on higher upscales, I tried 1600 x 900 as well, and had the other two images be very visible.

This problem. So many items not shows this is a graphic bug? I have AMD R9 M265X Graphics Card and my CPU is Intel core i7 4720HQ. 16 GB Ram. 
So many problems. Low fps, sound lag... Bad optimized emulator. Why emulators are very laggy on powerfull CPU'S AND GPU? I use latest version.

I use PS2 Emulator on a laptop, (Toshiba Satellite P50-B-11U) and i use PS2 disc with PS2 Emulator but game sometimes frozen because my CDROM sometimes stopped working CDROM really sometimes sleeps and wake ups again. I try to say with my bad english, CDROM not working stable, on all game discs with PS2 emulator. How i fix this problem? CDROM needs working never stop... :/ CDROM sometimes stops and emulator frozes every 10 second.

I've been playing with PCSX2 and it's been working pretty well for games that aren't too demanding. However 99% of the time when I try to use save states, it pops up a box with the name of the state file, then says "Oh noes, out of memory."

It worked one time right after I loaded a game and the state file that it wrote was 15MB. I've checked and with only PCSX2 running (plus my anti-virus and firewall which are always running), I have about 2GB of memory free.

How can 2GB of free memory not be enough to write a 15MB file? PCSX2 runs fine without closing any of the programs I normally have sitting idle in the background (web browser, notepad, etc), but it can't save a state file even when it's the only thing running? Why does it want so much memory to write a file?

Why PCSX2 so laggy still? (1.4.0)

I use MSI Afterburner for checking CPU usage and GPU usage. Game lagged so much on my high system. AMD R9 M265X 2 GB GDDR5. Intel core i7 4720HQ 3.72 GHZ. But uses so low CPU usage and GPU usage really low and that's why game laggy. How this emulator uses my all devices %100 optimized ? I try Sims 2 castaway game but laggy and sound laggy too :/

I have been playing World at War Custom Zombies and I found out some of the buttons don't work. I can't assign any keys to the buttons. They are R1,RS,Triangle,and Circle. Please help, it is hard to play on the controller without those buttons! I basically downloaded DS4 Windows just for Custom Zombies. Thanks in advance if you can help me.

Hello, i can run the emulator just fine on my rig, but whenever i play for 2 players the fps drop around 10+, its almost unplayable, or games like Midnight club 3, whenever there are 5 cars infront of me , the game starts to drop some frames.
But the worse of them all is Tekken 5, i already heard that it is a game that requires a good PC, but mine shoudnt be a problem (i believe), specs :

GPU : GTX 950 OC 2gb

RAM : 8gb RAM DDR4

CPU : i5-6400 ( 4 threads ) 2.70ghz ( turbo mode 3.3ghz )

i guess my rig should be enough to run the emulator just fine...

Im using PCSX2 1.4.0.

I wanted to know if there is a way to have a better performance, without lowering down the graphics settings? ( aka - make the terrain clamp, for example ) & i also wanted to fix this low fps multiplayer situation...

Any suggestions?

Persona 3 FES Text box issue

When the selection text box pops up during interactions when PCSX2 is in hardware mode, something weird happens to the text box. I prefer to use hardware mode so is there anything I can do besides change it to software mode?[Image: p3-fes-pcsx2-glitch-401789.png]

SSX 1 frame rate keeps dropping and increasing

Hi I am new to this forum and I need some help with SSX 1 (Not tricky or 3, the first one)

The loading screens and everything is working it's just when I start to play it the game immediately starts to lag and gives me 30 FPS, the game gets really slow and sometimes the FPS will go back up but then quickly drop. I've tried some configuration tutorials but they aren't working. My PC's specs are:

OS: Windows 10
AMD A8-6500 APU with Radeon HD graphics (4 CPUs) 3.5 GHz
AMD Radeon HD 8570D
2 Terrabytes on disk
8 Ram
Resolution: 1920x1080 (I'm using the native setting for the resolution in PCSX2)

So is there any fix for this?

hello guys i'm still new here in this forum but  i would like to ask some help for the bug in Dragon Quest 8
i just only started using PS2 emulator since my old buddy console PS2 short circuit ~.~ (damn)
but anyway i use emulator to play DQ8 because i reminiscing some old memory and i found i can't open  the door in tavern in the first town of dq8 once i entered the building , i can go in and out to the other building but in tavern building i can't get out of it once i entered it and i can't continue the story anymore
i've been looking for the answer but i still don't know how to fix it


i'm using PCSX2 1.1.0
and my pc stat
AMD A4-5300 APU
AMD Radeon HD 7480D 2 gig
4 gig Ram

Grafic Issues with 50cent bullet proof & Dirge of Cerberus

hi i have some grafic issues with this 2 games 50 cent bullet proof and Dirge of Cerberus,
the first one makes a green strip lines in the scenario

the second game have some issues with the screen effects it only shows the half screen

MGS3 saving issues.

Iv'e had a problem recently where MGS3 won't load the memory card. I tried different cards but it always gives me some sort of error. And when I try to save paramedic tells me that there's no memory card inserted. I realize that I can use save states but if there was a way to fix this i'd just prefer to use the in game save system.
